I turn away and walk toward Jaden's bunk.
I shake his shoulder and he groans, "What the-- Oh, hey Six." He says slugishly.
"Can you come with me?" I whisper. He nods and stands up. We walk out into the hall. I shut the doors quietly behind us.
"How long has that been going on?" I ask, irritated.
He smiles at me, "What?"
I smile back feebly, "Alex and Cleo."
He sighs, "The night you left. They just crawled back there and...well, you know." He winks.
I nod slowly, "Okay, thanks Jaden. You could go back to sleep. Today's Visiting Day. Maybe your parents will come." I try to sound excited. My parents won't be here. They died in a freak fire. He smiles and walks back into the Dorm. I don't cry. I walk around doing nothing. I reach the end of a hallway I never explored before and am grabbed from behind. I don't scream. Their skin grates against my arms as they pull me into a dark room. The door slams shut and they release me. The lights flicker on and I see him. Peter.I scoff, "What do you want?"
He smiles and bites his lip, "You." My face flushes with confusion. He wants me? "Do...do you feel the same way?" He says wringing his wrists.
I shake my head, "I'm not looking for a boyfriend. I just want to be single. Relationships mess everything up." I say, my tone even.
His smile fades, "Sure, Stiff. That's why." He jumps forward and crushes his lips to mine. His hands wrap around me, holding me in place. I open my mouth to scream, but he covers my lips with his again. I bite down, hard, on his tongue.
He yanks away and spits on the ground, "What the hell was that, Stiff?!" He screams. I spit at the ground, removing the remaining blood and spit from my mouth. He walks into the bathroom, leaving me alone. I open the door and shuffle out. I walk to the Cafeteria and grab a bottle of water and a hamburger. I down the bottle, cleaning my mouth. I sigh and eat my hamburger slowly.I remember the first time I had one. I was the small Abnegation girl, I had never kissed a boy, I had never been in love with anyone other than my family, and I had never eaten a hamburger. I smile. Tobias walks in. I eat the last bite of my burger and stand to throw away my plate. I see him and he doesn't look at me. I feel a pang of guilt, but suppress it.
I walk out and to the Chasm. People from different factions are bustling behind me, their curious eyes searching. I see some of my Initiates.
Jaden is standing with a tall, muscular man with the same brilliant green eyes. He's wearing Amity red and smiling strongly.
Anna's standing near a short, thin woman. I know, I know her from somewhere. The women looks uncomfortable. Her hands are clasped in front of her gray coat. She looks gingerly at her daughter.
Dylan is hugging a tall, lean women wearing Erudite blue, but no glasses. She smiles and laughs with him. She looks exactly like him, beautiful.
There's one lone man, standing in the back. He looks lost and confused. I walk towards him.
He smiles lightly, "Hello, would you happen to know where my daughter, Cleo is?" He's wearing Abnegation gray.
"She might be in the Dorms. Do you want me to take you?" I ask. He nods slowly. I turn and walk towards the Dorm. When I turn the corner, I check to make sure he's still following me. He is. I stop in front of the doors.
"Alright, these are the Dorms." I say, opening the doors, "When you're done, Cleo can take you back." I watch him walk in and he gasps loudly.
