"What the--" I say loudly. He fumbles to cover my mouth with his hand.

"Shh!" He pressures. He let's his hand drop from my face. His room is just how I remember it, the bed's a mess, the curvy words on the wall, and all his drawers on the dresser opened. He paces forward a few steps then back again, his hand pressed to his forehead. I touch his shoulder and he shrinks away from me.

"Ah God. Oh God." He mutters under his breath. I stand awkwardly by the door for minutes. Finally, he stops pacing and faces me. He looks worried. He steps forward and wraps his arms around me, squeezing my arms into my sides. He doesn't let go. I grit my teeth as the pain increases. His grip doesn't faulter. His arms go slack on me after a few more minutes.

He backs up a step and sighs, "Marlene's gone. Oh god. It's my fault. It's all my fault. I did this. I knew Lynn was trouble. Oh god. Oh God, Tris. What did I do?" He rants. I grab his shoulders and shake him.

"Uriah! Get a hold of yourself! Come on! Seriously!" He stops mumbling and looks at me. He stares into my eyes, his expression blank. "What. Happened." I say. He shakes his head and I drop my hands.

"Marlene. She left. Lynn just let her go. She's been gone since Thursday." Today is Sunday. "Lynn has no idea where she went and I don't think she's even worried!" He screams.

I sigh, "Alright, let's go to Lynn's. We'll find out. I'm going to help you find her."

A filler chapter's better than nothing, right? I'm undercover. My Mom's asleep and I'm writing this, forbidden to use my computer, at 2 in the morning. I must be a good spy. Feeling totally Dauntless right now. Thanks for your consideration.
