Ivory had been crying for hours.

It had been in the news and social media all day that Deion Sanders would be going to coach at Colorado for the next football season, obviously taking all 3 of his children with him.

She had been dating Shilo for 1 going on 2 years now, and these had been some of the best years of her life. She was in her final year of college, which meant she was in the position to just uproot her life to transfer to be with him. But she worried long-distance would be too hard on them.

Shilo knew his girlfriend was in distress, so he headed over to her place with sushi from her favorite spot and some flowers. When he entered her room it hurt his heart to see her in the state she was in.

"Come on baby, you gotta stop crying." he said wiping her tears

"Why didn't you tell me before? I'd asked you when the rumors started going around." she said.

"I wanted to have the conversation with you in person, but I couldn't get to you before it got to the news. I'm sorry...I brought you some food." Shilo grabbed the bag of food off the nightstand, placing it in front of her.

"I'm not hungry..." Ivory said while pushing the bag away. She couldn't deny the sushi smelled amazing, but her appetite was gone.

"What's gone happen to us Shilo? We both got a lot going on, and we only gone get busier, can we really do long-distance?" Ivory asked feeling herself about to cry again.

"I'm willing to try if you are." Shilo said.

He grabbed the bag of sushi now opening it and using a fork, because he wasn't good with chopsticks, to pick up a piece and extend it to Ivory. She opened her mouth, allowing her boyfriend to feed her, knowing his main concern was her eating.

"You getting in your head about it. If you really think about it, it won't be that bad. Imma face time you everyday whenever I can, we can visit each other when we can, you already know imma be yelling at graduation when you walk across that stage. Then once you graduate we can be inseparable, just gotta get through this first. Okay?"

Ivory nodded, giving him a small smile in response as he continued to feed her sushi.

His words had brought Ivory mild comfort. As long as he was willing to put the work into their relationship she was always willing to meet him halfway. She was grateful he was able to put her mind at ease.

She finished eating and the couple cuddled up together to watch a movie.

Ivory was familiar with the saying "All good things must come to an end" but from the looks of things that would never be the case for her and Shilo.
