I've been with Odell for 2 years now, and we have a 1 year old daughter Alexis Cymone and she's our world. I treasure every moment, one of the most recent ones was when she started walking.

I angrily got out the car holding Alexis, I made my way to the practice field seeing Odell and some of the team throwing footballs back and forth. Somebody pointed me out and he jogged over towards me "Hey mamas" he went to give me a kiss but I dodged it. "Damn, what I do" I put Alexis down on the bench and smacked Odell upside his head "Ow! Why you hitting me what I do?!"
"You done lost your damn mind Cornelius! You got some nerve taking my daughter to one of your little hoes house!" He sighed
"Jaida is just a friend, I've known her since highschool—"
"I don't give a damn who she is! I don't know her and she came up to us in the grocery store and was all over my child! I don't like looking stupid Odell and—"
"I would never have Lexi around somebody I didn't trust"
"The point is I didn't know about her and she was too comfortable with my child—"
I gasped looking over to see Lexi walking over to us, she collided with Odell's leg looking up at him smiling with her two teeth
"You're walking mamas! Look at you" he picked her up throwing her up in the air. I kissed her all over smiling at her "mommy's so proud of you ladybug!"
"Let's stay here and watch daddy practice"
"So you not mad no more? Bipolar ass"
He chuckled handing her to me as I sat on the field letting her walk around a little.

Alexis took us by storm when she started walking, she quickly picked up on running. She now liked to run off from us whenever we put her down so we were trying to break her habit. We were at Odell's game and she whining trying to get out my lap.
"Ladybug stop! What's wrong"
She pointed towards Odell and pouted

"I want daddy!" I sighed holding her and my bag walking down towards the field. Odell was talking to his coach and I put her down so I could hold her hand and we could walk but somebody bumped me and I heard giggles as she ran off. "Alexis! Come back!"

I pushed past the people seeing one of the players go in for a tackle and they'd collide with Alexis. "ODELL, GET HER!" he turned around at my panicked voice and quickly swept her up moving her out the way. I stopped running once I got to them trying to catch my breath.

"Alexis! Please stop running away from mommy! Promise me!"
"I sorry mommy, I just wanted to play with daddy"
"Daddy's at work right now Lexi we're gonna play at home. Come on mommy let's go take a breather"

We walked to the back and Odell gave her to the trainer, we were cool and Lexi liked her. We sat down and he was rubbing my shoulder as I cried "It's okay mamas"
"no it's not Odell, if she would've gotten hurt it would've been my fault! I'm a terrible mom, I can barely keep up with her how're we gonna keep up with another baby!"
"What do you mean"
"I'm pregnant Odell and I'm obviously not meant to be a mom—"
"Baby you're an amazing mama, you're amazing with Alexis, she's just a ball of energy like her daddy. You're not alone, we're gonna get through this together"

I smiled slightly, god I loved this man.
"I love you so much Odell"
"I love you too"
