Ch. 3

Later that night, Sonic stretched and said, "Oh boy. The weather forecast wasn't joking when they said the snows dying down. But the wind is a bit strong."

Sonia stayed on the couch and said, "Yeah. Hopefully we won't spend the rest of our vacation in a winter wonderland."

Sonic replied, "More like a winter nightmare. Say how about we go to that bed and breakfast we pass by earlier in the morning?"

Sonia replied, "Maybe." Then Sonic hugged his sister and said, "Well goodnight sis. I'm heading to bed."

Sonia replied as she hugged back, "Night baby brother." Sonic broke the hug and walked upstairs to his room. Once Sonic goes upstairs, Sonia then turns on the romance channel.

Sonia then gets out her laptop and writes; "Dear Mindy, how's the beach? If your wondering where I am, my family had me and my little brother 'Sonic' take a vacation together. While my big brother is at the fun festival at East Mobius, my parents are celebrating their anniversary at Diamond city, me and Sonic are freezing our fingers off in this suddenly snowy area. Luckily it will be gone by morning."

Sonia stopped to see a kissing scene, before she resumed typing to Mindy; "A few spooky moments happened to us on the way here. It's like we entered a horror movie or something. It freaks me out."

That's when she hears a deep eerie voice whispered, "...Sonia." She looked around but sees no one.

She resumed typing; "Well, I gotta get back to watching this romance movie you told me about. Hoped to hear from you soon: your best friend, Sonia."

Sonia then sends her message and puts away her laptop. When the commercials came on, she walked upstairs to her bedroom to grab her pajamas, takes her clothes off, and puts her pajamas on. She coulda sworn someone was watching while she was changing.

She then goes to the bathroom and washed her face. Once she walks out of the bathroom, she heard the voice again, "...Sonia?" Assuming her brother had something to do with it, she sighed. She sees Sonics room 'the door a little bit open'.

Sonia then said in a little stern tone as she walks to her brothers room, "Ugh. Sonic will you stop with the...?" She trailed off when she saw Sonic was sound asleep in his bed.

Sonia raised a brow and whispered as she turned away from her sleeping brother, "What? If Sonic is actually asleep, then who was...?"

She heard a creaking on the wood, she gasped as she heard someone downstairs.

She closed her brothers room and tiptoed downstairs. She whispered, "What was that?"

She looked around the room as she shook in fear.

Sonia then sees a shadow outside swiftly passes the window outside. She screamed quietly as she covered her mouth.

She said to herself, "This is getting scary."

She checked the doors and windows and they were locked tight.

Sonia was confused before she saw a shadowy figure, a tap or two on the glass was heard.

Sonia asked as she slowly walked to the window, "H-H-Hello? W-w-who's there?"

She reached for the curtain and opened it. She looked to see no one.

Sonia heavily breathed as she close the curtains. Sonia then sits back on the couch just in time for the romance movie to resume.

Sonia said to herself, "Whoever that was, I don't think that was Sonic. I guess he wasn't kidding around about the voices."

She was only halfway to the movie until she fell asleep.

Though she coulda sworn that someone was hovering over her and placing a blanket on her.

The same voice said in a chilling tone, "heh. She is a such a gorgeous girl."

Though in Sonics room, a dark figure looked at him with violet eyes and whispered in a eerie tone, "Hm! He's the most beautiful boy I ever seen."

He touched the blue hedgehogs face as Sonic twitched his eyes as he could feel it. It was as cold as death.

The figure smirked and showed his fangs with a slow hiss.
