Ch. 15

The two siblings waited until night to meet up with their new vampire boyfriends.

Sonia whispered, "Brother, we may need to see for ourselves to confirm their story."

Sonic then said, "But we dunno where this village is."

Just then, the chilling voice called their names and they were in a trance once again.

The two siblings walked deep into the forest and into the same path Sonic walked too. The same path with the skulls.

It was blocked by a fog but the voices guide them to the path.

Their feet were starting to get tired from all of that walking but they still kept going.

Both the siblings felt like collapsing despite being in a trance. It wasn't much longer until they reached the old village.

Sonic and Sonia snapped out of their trance as they looked around to see they were in the village Knuckles and Shadow told them about.

Sonia turns to her brother and said, "This must be the village Shadow and Knuckles told us about."

Sonic asked in concern, "B-but where is everyone? He did say there are more vampires than them."

That's when Sonic had a spine chilling feeling as someone was behind both him and Sonia.

Both siblings looked behind them and saw a hedgehog that looked like Shadow but more demented (undoubtedly a vampire).

The vampire hedgehog said with a malicious smile, "Well, if it isn't the new sweethearts of Knuckles and Shadow."

The two gasped as Sonia said with fear, "Y-Your the vampire that turned Shadow and Knuckles into vampires 700 years ago."

It was the same vampire 'Mephiles' that turned Knuckles and Shadow into vampires.

Sonic and Sonia held each other as Mephiles walked closer to them.

Mephiles then said as he snickered, "Well I gotta admit those two really picked themselves two nice and delicious mortals."

He licked his lips as Sonic said 'trying to hide his fear', "Stay back or I won't hesitate to hurt you pal."

Mephiles snickered before he said, "You can't hurt a vampire foolish boy." Sonic tried to attack but Mephiles pushed him badly. Sonia shouted angrily, "HEY, YOU CAN'T PUSH MY BABY BROTHER LIKE THAT!"

Mephiles replied, "Such a loving sister you are toots."

Sonia attempted to attack him but she too was push down. Sonic got up and said, "Didn't anyone taught you not to push women?"

Sonic tried to attack again but Mephiles pushed him without touching him hard and said, "I have no chivalry. I can admit that. Nor when it's for a male like you."

They tried and tried to attack him but Mephiles kept pushing them down. His last push was so hard they got bruised and scratched and dirty.

He then used a power to hold the two by the neck and hover from the ground.

They started choking as Mephiles sees the marks on their necks. He said, "Well. Looks like you both have already been marked by them. Guess they chose they're sweethearts. Pity that I didn't mark either of you. I coulda have you both to myself."

The two struggled as they felt like they're suffocating.

Mephiles was ready to kill them before Shadow and Knuckles 'who saw the ordeal' pushed Mephiles away from them.

It caused them both to fall and close their eyes into unconsciousness. Knuckles growled and said to Mephiles angrily, "Get away from them!"

Mephiles growled before he snickered. Shadow then said, "Never mind this jerk, let's grab the two and head to the castle."

Knuckles picks on Sonic 'bridal style' as Shadow did the same and teleported with the two siblings.
