Ch. 6

After they at the cabin, they see the snow on the ground mostly melted. Sonia turn to her brother and said, "I'm gonna go see if Mindy messaged me back."

Sonic replied to her, "You go on ahead I'm gonna go tour the woods."

Sonia said to him in a lecture tone, "Don't get lost Sonic."

Sonic chuckled and said, "Don't worry I won't." He walked off as Sonia went inside.

When Sonia sat on the couch, she reached for her laptop and she sees that Mindy wrote back.

It reads:

Dear Sonia,

Wow, you and your brother are at Purple-Lily Forest? I heard something lurks over there. Well the beach is great. I just met this cute guy there. You shoulda seen him, he had the most awesome muscles ever. Anyways, you both stay safe. Who knows what's out there? I gotta go, they're having a bond fire tonight.

Hope to hear from you soon; Mindy.

Sonia sighed deeply and began to type.

Dear Mindy:
We just heard about that when we were at the bed and breakfast. We woke up with pain in our necks this morning. Though when we were at the bed and breakfast, we encountered these two strange men in hoodies. One I find strangely fearful but alluring. He had the most beautiful set of red eyes. But his voice, so spine chilling. Something tells me that it's not the last we see them...

<meanwhile with Sonic>

The blue hedgehog looked at the forest by the edge of the lake. He said to himself, "Whoa. Hate to be the person to get lost in a forest like this."

He turned around just before an eerie voice called his name slowly and spine chilling, "...Sonic?"

That's when he turned around and spotted something or someone at the other side of the lake. He couldn't make out if he's a man or a woman. He yelled out, "Hello?!"

He then asked, "Who's there?!" The figure walked off as Sonic speeds to the location. Once he reached to the other side of the lake, Sonic looked to see no one.

The blue hedgehog said to himself, "Am I going crazy?" He looked around and said, "Shit. I got lost."

He then sees to a path that wasn't there before. He raised a brow before looking at the path with strange looking stones.

Curiosity took hold on him and he walked there. Sonic looked around and sees black and rotting trees without any leaves.

Sonic looked around and said, "This is really something from a horror movie."

Then he tripped on something and landed on his stomach.

Sonic got up and sees another stone. But he soon saw it wasn't a stone at all.

It was nothing more than a skull. It resembled a bear. That's when Sonic sees the stones were nothing but flicky skulls. He gasped before screaming loudly.

The pink hedgehog just sent her message and heard her brother scream. Alerted, Sonia ran out and shouted, "SONIC!!"
