Ch.9

Meanwhile with Sonic:

The blue hedgehog arrived at the red echidna's destination. He revealed his long fangs as he opened his mouth with a low growl.

Sonic was still in a trance while Knuckles walked to him and said with a low tone, "Oh how this day arrives when I saw you both. I woulda bitten you right away after you got out of the car."

Sonic said nothing before Knuckles snarled with a smirk. He was going to bite his neck but like Shadow he didn't.

Knuckles stepped back before he snapped his finger and Sonic snapped out of his trance.

Sonic looked around in confusion. That's when Knuckles said, "Glad you arrive Sonic." The blue hedgehog turns to him as he gasped.

Sonic asked, "How did I...? When did I?" He growled before Knuckles chuckled and said, "Oh don't be surprised baby. Let's just enjoy the moonlight walk. Shall we?"

He offered Sonics hand as the blue hedgehog was still skeptical. He was hesitant before taking his hand.

That stunned Sonic a little. Knuckles hand it felt like touching ice. Sonic thought in a skeptic tone, "His hand feels cold. Unless he took a cold shower earlier, something is wrong."

Knuckles then commented, "Don't you look lovely tonight?"

Sonic asked with a blush, "You think so?" Sonic then said, "you know? I feel ridiculous."

Knuckles replied as he wrapped an arm around him, "Not to my eyes. You look stunning in the night."

Sonic blushed before the two took a walk under the moonlight and around the lake.

It was romantic for Sonic but at the same time spooky. There was something no right about this guy.

But he found Knuckles very good looking but deep down he felt like fearing him.

But what can he do? But that's when a flashback flashed in his mind.

The day they arrived. Sonic remembers the guy from the road on that snowy night.

Sonic felt nervous and shy. Though with one sigh he decided to enjoy this.

Sonic said to him, "You know? It's really romantic. I mean we just met but it is Romantic."

Knuckles smirked and said, "I know, but I felt like I known you for a really long time."

Sonic tugged on his shirt with a shy expression before he said, "Oh, that's nice I guess."

They then stopped at the edge of the lake as the two held each other close. Though in a glimpse of the lake, Sonic spotted something that makes his blood run cold and his spine chill with his eyes widened in terror.
