Call To Me

Ch. 5

Sonia just finished her business in the restroom and walked back to her table. Though she couldn't get that black hedgehog out of her mind.

That's when she sees her brother with to another guy in a black hood with red streaks on it.

The guy in the black hood asked, "Excuse me young sir? Can you please tell me the time? I lost my watch at home."

Sonic answered him as he got his phone out, "It's about 8:15 sir." Sonic turn to the guy in the black hood and to his surprise, it was a red echidna with lavender eyes.

Sonic asked nervously, "Uhh.. I'm terribly sorry but... H-have I s-seen you before?"

The red echidna asked, "I don't think we have. You new here?"

Sonic answered, "Ac-Actually, I-I'm vacationing with my sister."

The red echidna then said to him, "Oh. Is that so? Well then boy. I'll be on my way. Thanks for telling me the time."

He then whispered to him a eerie tone, "You have pretty green eyes. Sonic."

He chuckled as Sonic looked down. He then said as he looked up, "Wait a minute how did you...?" Sonic sees he's gone and asked, "Where did he go?"

Sonia asked as she got back in her seat, "Who was that Sonic?"

Sonic shrugged and said, "I have no idea. He just asked if I knew that time. Then we kinda chatted a little. But I coulda sworn I seen him before."

Sonia then said, "I find it funny in a weird way. I just bumped into a guy in a hood on my way to the restroom. He was a male black hedgehog in a dark red hood."

Sonic replied as he felt his neck, "It's really eerie to me. Two guys in hoods. You find that a little suspicious sis?"

Sonia nodded in agreement before the waitress brought their plates (4 pancakes with syrup, 1 omelet, 2 slices of ham, and a had brown) and their coffee (with cream and sugar)

Sonic took a bite out of the pancake as he said, "This is great." The waitress replied, "Thanks young man. If you need anything else, give a holler." The waitress walked off

The two siblings started eating while talking about the weird things that happened to them from last night to now.

Sonia said to Sonic, "There is something about that man that sends chills up my spine Sonic."

The blue hedgehog agreed and said, "I'm with you on that. Those purple eyes were like the same as the ones from last night."

Sonia then said, "Sonic? I dunno about you but I felt like someone was watching me last night."

Sonic gasped before Sonia continued, "After I saw you asleep, I heard a creek on the floor downstairs. But there was nobody there. Then I saw a shadow pass by the window. I checked the doors and windows and every single thing was locked up tight."

Sonic asked, "How was there a creek when the cabin was locked?" Sonia shrugged before she said, "I don't know. But I saw a shadow at the window. It was like as if it knew I was in there. When I opened the curtains there was nobody there."

Sonic rubbed his chin and asked, "What do you think it means? Are we being tricked by trouble some kids or are we haunted?"

Sonia then said, "I don't know. But whatever was on that road. You were right, it was definitely no deer. Something is not right."

The two then had a spine chilling sense when they see the two guys looking at them with a small smile but their eyes are on them.

As soon as they walked out, the siblings thought it best if they got their food and coffee to go and it was time to go.

Sonia was gonna pay for their food but the cashier said politely, "Oh there's no need. Two gentlemen already paid for it. Isn't that nice?"

Sonic and Sonia looked at each other before thanking the cashier and running off to the car.

They drove back to the cabin as they find themselves startled.

The red echidna watched them go as he said with a blush, "I gotta admit Shadow. They really are cute when they're scared."

The black hedgehog 'Shadow' replied, "I told you they would be. I find the girl sexually attractive as much as you find that brother of hers nicely cute."

Knuckles licked his lips and asked, "How about we 'properly' introduce ourselves?" Shadow nodded in agreement and said, "Oh yeah. I think it's time we 'properly' introduce ourselves."
