Ch. 13

Outside the cabin, Sonia was a little nervous. She never felt this way.

Let alone a vampire boy. She then heard a familiar voice that asked, "Isn't that a little cold for you to wear your night clothes in the woods?"

She turns to see Shadow leaning against the tree. Sonia said in confusion, "You for vampires you really know how to avoid the sun. I thought you both only sleep in the day."

Shadow answers her as he walks to her, "Oh that? We're both one of those rare vampires that don't get destroyed by the sun. Other things hurt us but the sun doesn't."

Sonia blushed before she said, "Look your handsome and all though girls find it Romantic about vampires and mortal girls and all. Though I dunno if I'm your type. In fact I dunno what type you like."

Shadow replied, "Only one that as cute as you." He sat next to her.

Sonia asked, "What do you and your friend want with me and my little brother?"

Shadow replied to her with his hand on hers, "Simple my dear. We want you and your brother to be our soulmates for eternity."

Sonia blushed a bright pink and asked, "Y-you want me as your va-vampire bride forever?"

Shadow answered, "Hmm, something like that. Yes." Sonia blushed a deeper red and said, "I-I...It's flattery but you don't know me nor does your friend know my annoying little brother. I mean it's all happening so fast. I-I'm seriously flattered. N-not one boy is interested in me as much as my brother keeps getting chased by a girl he doesn't like."

Shadow chuckled and said, "Your really talkative. I like that in a girl like you."

Sonia looked down with a blush and said, "Well? Since we still have a few months left and I have no boy back at the city, oh what the hell?!"

She wraps her arms around him and squealed in excitement.

Shadow blushed and hugged her back. That's when he asked in his mind, "Uhh where is Knuckles anyway?"

<meanwhile>

Sonic asked, "You both want to marry us? Is that suppose to be a trick?"

Knuckles shakes his head no and said, "Oh no. It ain't. You must admit, you are cuter than any boy in this damn world. You are chosen to be my soulmate."

Knuckles grinned as he showed his fangs. He was going to get closer to his face before Sonic said, "Before you sink your teeth in my neck a third time. I need to know."

Knuckles asked, "About what?" Sonic answered, "You better tell me what happened 700 years ago. If your one of those guys that disappeared then tell us. What really happened 700 years ago?"

Knuckles was a little shook up before he said as he got between Sonics legs just after picking him up and placing him on the sink, "Very well...baby."
