"I will start drawing the plans and then we should be ready to start the process in the beginning of January" I looked up from writing on a piece of paper at one of my favorite clients before standing up and walking over to him who stood up extending his hand for me to shake.

"Thank you Mr.Brown I'll talk to my wife and I should be able to give you a date by tomorrow" He said as we walked out together and I nodded my head opening the door for him to walk out.

"Have a nice rest of your day Mr.Cane" I spoke before walking back into my office and sitting down at my desk sighing. I looked at the time seeing it was 2:25 pm so I picked my phone up and FaceTimed Leilani.

"Hey" she mumbled glancing down to look in the camera before looking back up at something. I scrunched my face up at the way she answered the call but I brushed it off and sent her a small smile.

"Wassup lil girl. Watchu doin' ?" I asked watching as a small smile crept up her face but she was lowkey trying to hide it. Lil fake mad ass.

"You gone stop calling me a lil girl ain't nothing lil 'bout me. But I'm sketching a request for a tattoo" she said propping her phone up allowing me to see her drawing in her sketch book

"How would I kno' that tho and lemme see watchu' drawin'. " I said staring at her through the phone. I watched as she froze then looked at me through the camera.

"I can show you better then I can tell you" she smirked picking the sketch book up and showing me the drawing she was doing. I nodded in satisfaction at how talented she was.

"Come show me den" I spoke lowly tucking my lips into my mouth making her laugh and shake her head.

"Nah but real talk, you talented as fuck and you're using yo' talent instead of lettin' it go ta' waste. I'm proud of you" I spoke sending her a warm smile making her return it.

"Aww you're so sweet. You really just made my day, I wasn't having the best morning and just hearing you say that really put a smile on my face. Thank you Amiri" she said finishing the drawing before looking at it and nodding once she liked it.

"It ain't nun love" I smiled watching as she turned her head out of the camera to hide that fact that she was blushing.

"Not you blushing. I gotchu like det fr?" I laughed and she playfully rolled her eyes flicking me off. I stared at her through the phone just admiring all her features.

From her black, natural, coily hair that reached her shoulders down to her brown hazel eyes, to her full, pink plump lips. Mhmm, God took his precious time with her.

"What time you get off" I asked her glancing up at the time on my wall before looking back at her as she stood up, grabbing her phone from the table.

"I'm doing a nose piercing right now then I'm leaving straight after. Why?" She looked down at me and I nodded my head.

"I want you to join me fa' dinner tonight. You ca' bring Toota and Pookie too" I spoke watching as she got her tools ready to do a clients piercing.

"Ouu! Food do sound good right about now" she mumbled making me shake my head. She always hungry for some damn food.

"So ya'll gone join me?" I asked again and she acted like she was thinking before nodding her head making me straight face her.

"Yea I can come. But I might be alone cause Azariah over at my parents for the week and Toota meeting his girlfriend's family tonight" she said making me nod my head.
