January 2024~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Keep pushing mama! He's almost out just a few more!" The nurse encouraged as tears streamed down my face. My legs were pushed to my chest while Isaiah stood next to me holding my leg while whispering sweet encouraging words in my ear.
"You got this baby, just a few more and our baby boy is gone be hea' ," he whispered placing soft kisses on my forehead. I took a deep breath as they told me to rest while we waited for another contraction.
"Alright mama, this is your last one. Big push! Big push! 1...2...3 and push!" She said making me suck in a breath before pushing while she counted.
"Keep going, keep going!" They all spoke as I scrunched my face up pushing as hard as I can. Soon enough, the room was filled with our baby's cries before they called Isaiah to cut the umbilical cord.
"Born January 8th 2024, 3:15 am at 5 pounds, 8 ounces. Congratulations mom and dad on your beautiful bundle of joy." The doctor announced while they all clapped and congratulated us.
I watched Isaiah the entire time seeing tears streaming down his face as he watched them lay him on my chest. Tears of joy fell from my eyes as I stared at our baby boy.
"You did so good baby, thank you for carrying and delivering our precious baby boy" Isaiah sniffed before placing kisses on my forehead.
"I love y'all so much" he whispered staring at us making me smile and look up at him. He leaned down and pecked my lips a few times.
"We love you more papa" I smiled before looking back down. They took our baby to give him a bath and dress him while also making sure I was okay.
Isaiah followed them everywhere, making sure that he was okay and if they were taking care of him.
I'm glad that I could make him a first time dad by giving him his first baby. Yes Azariah and Kamari were his kids but the feeling of knowing that you actually made a whole human being is something that is so precious and that feeling can't be taken away from you.
A few minutes later, everything died down and the room was quiet. Isaiah came back with our baby along with the nurse behind them.
"Hi mom and dad. Are y'all ready to sign the birth certificate?" She asked making us nod and smile.
"Do you have a name yet?" She asked with a small smile making me nod my head.
