4 years later....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Grab that for me please" I told Toota while he nodded and picked the cake up. I walked outside with him following behind me as I guided him towards the snack table.
"Thank you" I spoke looking around the table to see if everything was sorted. I looked around our backyard seeing family scattered everywhere, laughing and talking amongst each other while some guests just arrived.
"Baby, you alright?" I heard making me turn around to see Isaiah walking towards us with a now 4 year old Naiari in his arms and her head laid on his shoulder.
"I'm okay papa. You okay?" I asked leaning up to peck his lips. He nodded his head, his free hand instinctively finding its way to my 6 month belly rubbing circles on it while leaning down to place pecks on my lips.
"You wan' come to daddy or you gone say wit' de-de" I heard Kamari ask as we pulled away seeing him talking to Naiari who's head was still laid on Isaiah's shoulder. She held her hands out to him and he grabbed her placing a kiss on her cheek while she wrapped her arms around his neck and laid her head on his shoulder.
"You hungry" he asked as he turned around to walk away with her. Kamari was now 22 years old and was the best father ever to Naiari. I watched him grow and evolve into the person he is today and it brings literal tears to my eyes. From being a teen father at the age of 17, learning the challenges of becoming a father at such a young age while still keeping up with school has definitely been a struggle but he made it. Him and Ari both.
They're still together, strong as ever and it brings joy to my heart seeing them grow more in love with each other while raising their daughter together. Ari graduated cosmetology school and now owns her own business that's thriving and very successful at the age of 21.
Kamari decided that he wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and become an architect while also still working at the tattoo shop as a tattoo artist. He's currently doing his last year in college.
Azariah, 12 about to turn 13, started her 8th grade year in January and is a straight A student and captain of the track team, still making her family proud. Ej, a 13 year old teenager, straight A student, captain of the football team. A very skilled and dedicated boy who also doesn't fail to make us all proud.
"You feeling okay" he asked making me smile and nod my head while I leaned into him as he stepped behind me, placing his hands below my belly to gently lift it making me sigh in relief.
"Mommy, Vani said she's hungry" I heard making my eyes pop open to see a now 4 year old Dekari standing in front of us with a 2 year old Savani next to him, her hand in his.
We had Savani 2 years ago today and I remember it like it was yesterday. 4 kids and 1 on the way, I would've never expected myself to push out 5 kids. To be completely honest, the bun in the oven was not even planned...Isaiah is just fertile asl and cannot pull out for shit.
"Okay bean, thank you for looking after your sister my sweet boy" I leaned down and kissed his cheek while he smiled shyly and nodded. Dekari was definitely the quiet one out of all my kids. He was always in his own world and stayed to himself most of the time.
Now Savani? That was a different story, that lil girl is bad asl, Naiari too. Don't get me started on Saraya, there were just too many kids to keep up with now.
"Kari, cm'on let's go!" One of the other kids yelled making Kari wave at us before running off. Savani walked towards Isaiah and held her arms up making him pick her up into his arms.
