It was Thanksgiving and I was currently getting Azariah ready for us to head out to my brother's house. He was hosting this year so everyone was gonna be at their house.
"Alright put on your shoes Angel" I pointed to them and she got up before grabbing them. I made sure she was fine before walking down the hall to Kamari's room and knocking. Hearing a faint 'come in' made me peek my head in seeing that he was dressed and on the game.
"Just checking to see if you're ready. I'm gonna get dressed real quick" I said and he nodded his head. I closed the door back before walking towards my room. I already took a bath with Azariah so all I had to do was get dressed.

Minutes later we were walking out of the house and towards the car so that we could leave. As I was buckling Azariah up, Mari spoke.
"Ma...can I drive us up there please" he asked as I closed the back door. I thought about it for a second before giving him the keys as his face lit up with excitement.
"You fr" he asked looking at me for confirmation making me nod my head and get in the passenger seat as he got in the driver seat.
"I trust you enough to drive my car and get us there safely so gone ahead" I said. I watched as he connected his phone to the Bluetooth before putting on his seat belt and backing out of the driveway.
