~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"Where are we going" I looked over at Isaiah who had one hand on the wheel and the other between my legs while he focused on the road.
"Somewhere. Just vibe baby" he glanced at me making me smack my lips and get on my phone. Soon we pulled up into someone's driveway. I looked at the decent looking house we were parked in front of before looking over at Isaiah who was getting out of the car before making his way to my side.
"Who's house are we at Saiah" I asked him but he didn't answer me as we walked hand in hand towards the front door. I scrunched my face up when I seen him taking a pair of keys out of his pocket before unlocking the front door.
We were met with the aroma of soul food making my stomach growl loudly. Isaiah looked at me crazy before he busted out laughing.
"I kno' you ain't that hungry" he walked us further into the unknown person's house. I looked around at the interior and how beautiful the house was decorated.
"Ma! Whea' you at" I snapped my head towards him sending him a glare as he made a yikes face before turning to look at his mom when she walked out of the kitchen. A beautiful woman who stood at 5'6 with her brown skin that glowed when sunlight hit her and long black hair that reached her mid back.
Now that I think about it, Isaiah did say he wanted me to meet his mom after many conversations we had about parents. Only reason he met mine was because he had to pick the kids up from their house cause if it was really up to me, I would've waited a little longer.
"Hey Son. Hi baby, you're so pretty. Its nice to finally meet you" she gave Isaiah a look before pulling me into a hug while swaying us side to side. I could hear the accent in her voice as she spoke and made a mental note to ask Isaiah about it later.
"It's nice to meet you too Mrs.Brown and please, you're way more beautiful" I smiled waving her off as she chuckled before ushering us to sit down and get comfortable.
"I cooked, are ya'll hungry" she asked and we nodded our heads. I could never say no to food especially since it smelled so good in here from the moment we walked in that front door.
"Whea' Miracle at Ma?" Isaiah asked and I remembered him mentioning his sister named Miracle who was 16 years old.
"ella fue al centro comercial con sus amigos. Aunque debería estar en casa en unas horas. (she went to the mall with her friends. she should be home in a few hours though)" she said looking at the clock that was placed on the wall in the kitchen.
"Lo juro hermano, le arrebataré su pequeño culo si sale con un chico. (i swear on bro I'll snatch her lil ass up if she out with a boy)" Isaiah spoke making me look at him with my jaw dropped. There's no way this boy was hiding all this from me bro. Only reason he ain't spend Christmas and Thanksgiving with his mom and sister was because they went to visit family who didn't stay here and he couldn't go cause he was still drawing up plans for his clients dream home.
"Leave my bebe alone boogie. Anyways, tell me about yourself Leilani" she waved him off before smiling at me as I chuckled.
"I'm Leilani Marie Johnson, I'm 23 years old and I have a 8 year old daughter named Azariah and a 16 year old son named Kamari. I graduated from college a year ago and I own a tattoo shop called 'Inked by Lani'. I started a YouTube channel a few days ago and I'm a brand embassador for Savage Fenty." I stated and she nodded with a smile but I seen her get confused when I told her my age and Azariah and Kamari age.
"I got pregnant when I was...15 and Kamari is my son that I'm looking into adopting" I spoke nervously as I said that and she sent me a small smile.
"No need to be nervous baby. You made a mistake and you were young but babies are blessings so it's no need to be shy" she reassured and I nodded my head sending a smile in return.
