"Rise and shine, Nico," Sergio said, swinging the blinds open.

"Sergio, I swear to God," Nico groaned, turning on his side. "You're always waking me up way too early now."

"The earlier you wake up the more practice you have," Sergio stated.

"I don't need extra practice, Gio." He pulled the blanket over his face.

"Of course, you do, Nick." He pulled Nico's blanket off of him.

"Sergio what the hell!?"

"Gabriel is going to take your spotlight if you don't get up."

"Fine. Fine. Fine," Nico huffed and finally got out of bed. "You better not do that shit again."

"No promises."

Sergio tossed the blanket back on the bed while he waited for Nico to get ready.

"Again," Sergio yelled once Nico messed up on the waltz jump.

Nico continued from his previous move but stumbled before even going for the jump.

"Again, Nico," Sergio yelled.

"Sergio," Nico snapped, furiously turning to face him. "I get it. Okay!"

"Do you?" Sergio spoke. "Honestly Nico do you get it because you keep messing up on the same part!"

Nico opened his mouth to argue back but furrowed his eyebrows once he saw Gabriel and Vincent walk by. Gabriel looked over at Nico and was startled when their eyes met which caused Gabriel to quickly look away and rush to catch up with Vincent.

"Again Nico," Sergio called out, snapping Nico from his thoughts.

Gabriel and Vincent both sat in the cafe at the same table in silence. Vincent glanced over at Gabriel's phone then up at his concentrated face with a glazed doughnut in his hand, gently pressed against his lips.

He chuckled. "Are you and that doughnut looking for a place to live," he asked.

Gabriel nervously chuckled then pulled the doughnut away from his lips as he cleared his throat. "Yeah," he replied. "Well me. Not the doughnut."

"Uh huh," Vincent remarked. "Let me guess- they kicked you out because you couldn't help pay the rent."

"No actually." He turned to face Vincent. "Kyhun- my best friend- me and him got into a heated argument about me being here at S-Tech. Long story short; I felt no need to pretend like everything was all right, so I left."

Gabriel looked at his phone again. "I didn't realize how expensive these apartments were."

"Well, you can live with me if you want," Vincent offered.

Gabriel quickly looked up at him. "R-Really," he stuttered with excitement.

Vincent shrugged. "Yeah. Easier for both of us. Live together. Arrive together. No time to waste. Your decision though. No-"

"Okay," Gabriel spoke quickly.

"Okay?"

Gabriel nodded. "Yeah. Not every day you get to live with seven-time World Champion Vincent Maze."

The two laughed. "Stop you're making me blush," Vincent joked but Gabriel's cheeks flushed pink.

Vincent stood up but before he walked away, he got a bite of Gabriel's doughnut.

"Hey," Gabriel whined.

"What," Vincent snickered. "You weren't going to take the first bite anytime soon."
