The Unwritten Rule

CHAPTER 3

After marriage, Ji Ho couldn't fulfill his duty as a husband. He was still stuck in the past. He couldn't forget Ae Cha. The queen Chae Won found out about Ae Cha. She felt sad and disappointed. She wanted to do her best and be a perfect wife for Ji Ho and an ideal queen for the kingdom. After a few months into the marriage, Ji Ho heard good news from his sister Ara. Queen Ara gave birth to a cute yet handsome son named 'Min Yoongi' which means shine or gloss. Both Ji Ho and Chae Won visited the kingdom of 'Floren'. Ji Ho's sister, Min Ara, was so happy to see her beloved brother. Because of her pregnancy, she couldn't visit her brother's marriage. Despite their love and care for each other, Ara and her husband faced difficulty in conceiving for a long time. At one point, Ara even thought of asking the king to marry another woman. However, the king remained devoted to her and was finally blessed with a baby boy at 25.

As soon as King Ji Ho and Queen Chae Won visited the kingdom 'Floren', Queen Ara was over the moon. She congratulated the couple on their wedding and apologized for not attending their wedding. The king and queen of Floren took care of the couple and showed them around the palace. King Do Yun accompanied King Ji Ho while Queen Ara took Queen Chae Won to the garden. After all the 'showing around' everyone was tired. The couple of Floren showed the guest room for the guests to take a rest. King Ji Ho, however, was eager to see his nephew. While the queen Chae Won was resting, Ji Ho went out in search of his sister. When he found her, he requested her sister to let him see his nephew. Queen Ara smiled at her eagerly waiting brother and took him to her chamber where the baby was sleeping. Ji Ho took his nephew in his arms and looked at him adorably. After spending some time with the baby, Ara and Ji Ho wanted to spend some time together as it has been so long since they met each together. "So, how are treating Chae Won?" Ara asked. She already observed the couple and could tell right away that her brother was unhappy with the marriage. "What do you mean, noona? I am treating her well." Ji Ho answered, avoiding eye contact. "You punk, this is not how a husband treats his wife. You think I am blind?" Ara scolded her little brother. Ji Ho couldn't hide anything from her sister. He told her everything about Ae Cha and his marriage deal. "So?" was the question Ara asked. Ji Ho looked at her, confused. Ara sighed. "What are you going to do now? You are just going to live like this? You loved someone else, and you asked for help from another kingdom. Why should she suffer because of you? I know this is hard for you, but now you are not only a king, but also a husband. She never did anything wrong, so why does she have to suffer because of your love failure? I am not telling you to forget about Ae Cha, but at least give Chae Won a chance," Ara said to her brother, who was in deep thought.

After a few days spent in 'Floren', Ji Ho and Chae Won returned to their kingdom. Chae Won was about to go to her room when Ji Ho stopped her by holding her hand. "Do you..... want to eat something..... together?" Ji Ho asked shyly, avoiding eye contact. It shocked Chae Won as Ji Ho touched her and asked her to eat together for the first time... With a broad, bright smile, Chae Won nodded her head. "Yes". From that day forward, Ji Ho started opening his heart to Chae Won. 

Years passed and Queen Ara gave birth to a handsome boy named Min Namjoon. By the time Namjoon was 1 year old, Queen Chae Won gave birth to a cute bunny boy and named him Jeon Jungkook. Jungkook reminded Ji Ho and Ara of their mother when they first saw him. Jungkook has bright eyes like their mother, a button nose, and rosy lips. After, a few years, Queen Chae Won gave birth to a cute boy named as Jeon Jimin.
