After making out for a while, Seokjin and Jungkook talked about the time they had missed together. While talking, Jungkook saw some papers lying on the floor. Among them, one paper caught Jungkook’s attention. He went and took the paper.

The paper has Taehyung’s details. “Hyung this….” Jungkook said, showing Seokjin the paper. “Oh, this is Taehyung’s details. The king ordered the test, right? He is a great archer but his family details seem off. So I wanted to go and check it myself.” Seokjin said, keeping the paper on the table. ‘if hyung goes and checks, he will find out that Taehyung was lying and will not approve his stay in the palace. If that happens, it will be difficult to catch Yeolsoe.’ Jungkook thought.

Hyung, is the background check necessary? I mean, I have seen Taehyung, and he doesn’t seem to have any bad intentions.” Jungkook said, trying to convince Seokjin. “He may look decent, but it’s necessary. It involves the security of the king and the kingdom, Jungkook, and I cannot compromise in this matter.” Seokjin said.

Jungkook had to stop Seokjin from doing a background check and there seems to be only one way. Jungkook told Seokjin about Taehyung. “Then how are you going to prove that the Yeolsoe killed the late king? You said you don’t have enough evidence.” Seokjin asked. “That’s why we need Taehyung here. He said he can collect evidence.” Jungkook assured Seokjin.

But how?” Seokjin still couldn’t understand how Taehyung will collect the evidence. The incident took place years ago. “Taehyung said that he had found a way to get to the evidence. He instructed me to meet him at the backside of the palace.” Jungkook said, “let me tag along.” Seokjin said “Hyung its-” Jungkook’s sentence got cut off by Seokjin “No Jungkook. You might trust him and go alone at night, but I am still concerned about this. I don’t want to risk your life. I am coming with you.” Seokjin said to which Jungkook had to agree.

That day, night Jungkook, along with Seokjin, went to meet Taehyung. Seokjin and Jungkook’s arrival surprised Taehyung. He had been waiting for Jungkook. He looked at Jungkook confused “Umm… Hyung was about to do a background check on you, so I had no option left. I told Jin hyung about you and he wanted to tag along.” Jungkook explained.

Taehyung nodded. “So you said you have a way to collect the evidence?” Jungkook asked. “yes. When I was living with my Appa and father, I met a girl named Y/N. She works as a spy. I asked her for help and she found major evidence. The doctor who helped Yeolsoe to kill the late king confessed his crime to his son when he was on the deathbed. He wrote a letter confessing his crime and intended to send it to the king. But, the letter did not reach its destination. I doubt that Yeolsoe must have the letter. If we can get our hands on that letter, we can prove the crime Yeolsoe has committed.” Taehyung said. “And you trust her because?” Seokjin asked. “I trust her because I and her have a similar relation as you and Jungkook.” Taehyung replied with a small smile. Jungkook and Seokjin looked at each other as if they got caught in a crime. “Don’t worry, I won’t say anything,” Taehyung said.

The next morning, Seokjin gave the report and necessary details of Taehyung to the king. Then, he assigned Taehyung for the training.

There are few people including Taehyung, they have assembled. Seokjin and Hoseok, the new soldiers' instructor, came and stood in front of the group. “Attention!” A soldier shouted. He bowed to Seokjin and Hoseok. “Hello everyone, today is your first day of training. He is Jung Hoseok. He will be the one to train you.” Seokjin introduced “All the best.” And left them under Hoseok’s care.

After the training, Hoseok went to Seokjin’s cabin. Seokjin's table had papers covering it. Hoseok came in and sat on the opposite chair. “Hyung, do you know when Namjoon will come again?” Hoseok asked. Seokjin, who was looking at the paper in his hand, looked up “Prince Namjoon?” Seokjin asked, surprised by how Hoseok mentioned Namjoon's name. Hoseok nodded his head, unbothered by Seokjin's surprised voice. “No. I don't know. Why?” Seokjin asked . “I miss him.” Hoseok said. “You miss him?” Seokjin asked, unsure if he heard right or wrong. “Hyung, I am going to tell you a secret don't tell, anyone not even to prince Jungkook." Hoseok said, bending forward from his chair with a serious face. Seokjin nodded unsure, but nothing less. Hoseok continued. “Me and Namjoon are in love with each other.” Hoseok said in a low voice. Seokjin's eyes widened. “When? You joined here with me, right?” Seokjin was beyond shocked. When Seokjin left his uncle's house, he met Hoseok. They both got close and were almost together every day. Hoseok meeting Namjoon and both of them falling in love was something that Seokjin didn’t even imagine. “Um… that…..is a secret.” Hoseok teased his hyung and left the cabin, leaving a confused Seokjin.
