CHAPTER 19

It took 2 weeks for Jungkook and Taehyung to search Nam Kyung's and Nae Chin Mae's rooms. They didn't find the letter they were looking for. But they found many illegal documents, gold bars, and even rare medical herbs. "Jungkook, we should report them to the king." Taehyung suggested. "No hyung. First let's find the letter and then we can report these when they least except it. If we report it now, it will be hard to find the letter and the other Yeolsoe will destroy the evidence." Jungkook said.

While they were busy finding the evidence. The king received a news stating that the Ice kingdom was preparing for a war.

Outsiders might find this war unexpected. But the king knew that the Ice kingdom would not go back and would rise again. The king was not worried about the war. He was more worried about Seokjin. Seokjin was going to be face to face with the murder who killed his father.

The moment Seokjin heard the new about the war, he was restless. He started training without a break. Jimin and Hoseok got worried, seeing Seokjin, who was not showing any signs of stopping. "Hyung, it's enough. It's already midnight." Hoseok said. Sweat covered Seokjin's entire body. His bruised palms showed how much pressure he had been enduring and how long he had been holding the sword. "Hyung, at this rate, you would tire yourself and won't be able to go to the war." Jimin said. No matter what they both said, Seokjin was not stopping. There was only one thing running in his mind and that was to kill the people who killed his father.

Seokjin's vision started getting blur. He closed his eyes and opened them again. He felt dizzy. His body was giving up and within seconds he collapsed, losing his conscious. "Hyung!!" Hoseok and Jimin shouted. They rushed towards Seokjin. "Hyung." Hoseok tapped Seokjin's face. Jimin took Seokjin's hand and checked his pulse. "Hyung, let's take him inside." Jimin said.

After some time, Seokjin opened his eyes. Jimin, who was sitting near Seokjin's bed, reading some book, saw Seokjin open his eyes "Hyung are you okay?" Jimin asked, helping Seokjin sit up on the bed "What happened?" Seokjin asked, unable to recall his last memory. "Hyung, you fainted while practicing. Me and Hoseok hyung brought you here." Jimin helped Seokjin regain his memory. Seokjin nodded, "Hyung, can I ask you something?" Jimin asked. "Yes. What is it?" Seokjin asked. "Does anyone in your family have eye problems? Like night blindness or partial blindness? "Jimin asked. Seokjin thought for a second, "Umm yes, my eomma's side family have eye problem. My eomma said that it might affect me, so she always took to the doctor. Why? "Seokjin asked.

Before Jimin could answer, Hoseok came bursting the door. "Hyung. Thank God you are okay. I was so worried." Hoseok said, hugging Seokjin. "I am okay, hobi." Seokjin said, patting Hoseok. "But what happened? Why did you faint?" Hoseok asked, sitting on the bed. "Maybe it was because you over did your practice." Hoseok continued, not giving Seokjin any chance to reply.

Jimin, who was listening to the conversation, was quiet. He might know the reason Seokjin fainted, but before he could say it out, he wanted to confirm it with someone. "Jimin are okay?" Seokjin asked when he saw Jimin spacing out. "Ha...yes hyung. I will get going. I have something to do. And hyung, I have kept the medicine on the table. Please take it." Jimin said before going. "It took him hours to make that medicine. You better take them hyung." Hoseok said.

Jimin was always interested in herbs and their medical values. The king and queen observed this and let Jimin works under the palace doctor, Oh Gwak In.

Hoseok gave the medicine, which Jimin made to Seokjin. Seokjin took the glass. "Drink it hyung." Hoseok said after looking at Seokjin, who made a disgusting face after seeing the colour of the medicine. Seokjin sighed and gulped the medicine in one go with his eyes closed tight. "Ugh.." Seokjin coughed. "Hyung, don't be a baby." Hoseok said, patting Seokjin's back.

Hoseok was helping Seokjin when the door opened with a loud bang. It startled both Hoseok and Seokjin. Seokjin looked at Jungkook, who was panting.

Jungkook sat beside Seokjin and took his hand. "Hyung, are you okay? " Jungkook asked, worried. Hoseok fake coughed and excused himself. Seokjin smiled, he caressed Jungkook's cheeks "I am fine now Kookie." Jungkook hugged Seokjin "I am sorry hyung, I couldn't come faster. The king wanted to have a meeting about the war and it lasted longer than expected. When the meeting ended, Taehyung said, you fainted. I rushed here as fast as I could." Seokjin pulled out of the hug. "Kookie, you don't have to say sorry. I am fine now. See, I even drank the medicine your brother made for me. Even though it tastes like grass." Seokjin complained, showing the empty glass, pouting his lips.

Jungkook pecked Seokjin's lips. "Jungkook!" Seokjin looked around to make sure no saw. Jungkook smiled and lay beside Seokjin. He made Seokjin lie beside him. Seokjin kept his head on Jungkook's chest. Jungkook's one hand hugged Seokjin, and the other was under his head. "Hyung ... I know this war is important to you, but please be careful. I don't want to see you get hurt." Jungkook said, caressing Seokjin's body. "Jungkook.... What if I failed to kill the enemy?" Seokjin asked. Jungkook turned towards Seokjin. "Hyung, you are one of the best swordsmen in this kingdom. And don't forget, I am always there to help you. You can lean on me hyung. It's okay." Jungkook said, hugging Seokjin close to his heart.

Meanwhile, Jimin went to the palace doctor. He stood in front of the door and knocked. He entered the room when he heard a faint 'come in'. "Dr.Oh." Jimin greeted the doctor. "Oh.. prince Jimin, why a pleasant surprise." Dr.Oh greeted Jimin back. "Dr.Oh I have some questions. Can you please spare sometime for me?" Jimin requested. "Sure my price. Please take a seat." Dr.Oh guided Jimin and sat in front. "How can I help you, my prince?" Jimin took out the book, which he was reading when Seokjin was unconscious, and showed it to Dr.Oh.

He took the book in his hands. It was a drawing of an eye, with labelling of each nerve present in the eye. "Can you please explain more about this disease?" Jimin asked. Dr.Oh nodded. "This is a very rare disease. It does not spread, people usually get it from the ancestors. The reason for this is still unknown. We can only find it when we look into the eyes. There would be no external symptoms. The only signs would be a sudden loss of consciousness and blurry vision. These are the early symptoms. After these symptoms show, within 3-4 weeks, the patient might lose their eyesight or be blind." Dr.Oh finished. Jimin didn't know what to do or say. "Then how do we find if the person has disease or not and is there a cure?" Jimin asked. "The person with this disease, he will have swollen veins in the corner of his/her eyes. And about the cure, we don't have any cure," Dr.Oh said, keeping the book he was holding on the table.

Jimin started sweating. He felt his throat dried up. Seeing Jimin tensed and worried, Dr.Oh immediately brought a glass of water and gave it to Jimin. Jimin took the glass and drank it in one go. "Slow down, my prince." Dr.Oh said, worried. Jimin took Dr.Oh's hands into his "Dr.Oh please..... please do something......hyung...." Jimin's tears rolled down his face. "Calm down, my prince. Can you please tell me what happened so that I can help?" Dr.Oh said "last night Seokjin Hyung fainted, so I and Hoseok hyung took him to his room. I stayed with hyung all night since Jungkook hyung was busy with the upcoming war with the king. I made him some medicine which will help him strengthen his body since he looked weak. After making the medicine I checked hyung's plus and his pupils. His eyes..... he has swollen veins in the corner of his eyes, both eyes." Jimin said, crying. "What?" Dr.Oh said, shocked.
