Ha-na only tried to make ends meet. Her entire life, it felt all she did was fight for her life. Whether it was school, jobs, money, relationships, family, the battle never ended. However, it did get easier when her path cr...

The silence was deafening. Ha-na had been waiting with Hyeon-ju in the office for what felt like ten hours. It had really only been ten minutes, though. She only knew because she kept looking up at the clock every few seconds, disappointed when she realized it had only been a few seconds.
She kept biting the skin around her nails, ignoring Hyeon-ju's looks of slight disgust when she'd spit the piece of skin out of her mouth and onto the floor. It was the only thing taking her mind somewhat off the waiting. She wasn't used to being apart from the boys for this long. She hadn't seen them since this morning, and on a regular day it wouldn't have been so bad. But when they're all out doing crimes that could get them killed, she didn't want to be away from them for longer than an hour.
The two girls hadn't spoke the entire time. Too much was running through their minds, and really, there was nothing to talk about right now. Ha-na figured that Hyeon-ju was processing everything that they had just done, and the fact that someone was dead because of them.
Honestly, Ha-na didn't really care all that much about Jun-min anymore. It was over. One down. They couldn't take it back now. All that mattered was they rode away safe and fairly uninjured. Du-yeong was probably going to be sore as hell tomorrow, but he lived. That's all that mattered.
Ha-na sprung up out of her chair, nearly knocking it over when she heard the office door open. Her muscles relaxed when she saw Woo-jin barrel through the door, Geon-woo right behind him.
"Oh, thank god." She whispered to herself as she practically threw herself at Woo-jin, her arms wrapping tightly around his neck. "Are you hurt?" She asked, her face buried into his shoulder. She felt his head shake, and his arms wrap just as tightly around her waist.
She pulled back, resting her hands on his shoulders, examining his face. All that was there were the old scars from the past few days, nothing fresh. She sighed in relief. "Good." She then let go of him, making her way to Geon-woo. She examined him first, knowing his eyes would tell her before she even had to ask.
He looked tired, but okay. Nothing too crazy had happened. They were completely fine, and safe. She pulled him in for a tight hug, and he immediately wrapped himself around her. She could feel his body relax into hers, like he had also been waiting impatiently to see her again. "Are you okay?" He asked, not meaning physically. How was she, mentally?
She understood what he meant, and nodded. "Yes, I am." She whispered back, and they finally let go of one another.
She looked between the both of them again, reminding herself that this was real. They're together again.
"Are you alright?" Geon-woo asked Hyeon-ju, and Ha-na immediately felt kind of guilty for not asking her that herself. She had been so worried about the boys getting back she didn't even think to check up on her, and ask how she was handling all of it. She had just figured Hyeon-ju wouldn't want to talk about it anyway. Which, she was probably right about that, but she still should've asked.
