Survivor (Newt/Jasper Hale fanfic)

Chapter 14

I looked around scared as the others had got out of the vent. "Come on, let's go." Thomas says looking around making sure we were all safe. "You guys go, I have to go do something!" Aris says, looking at them. "What do you mean?" I asked worriedly. "You guys wanna get out of here right trust me." Aris says going to the vent. "I'll go with him!" Winston says as they others nod, watching Aris and Winston leave.

Once they were gone Thomas grabs my hand pulling me down the hallway as I didn't pull away thinking Newt wouldn't care that we was holding hands while running down the hallway until they almost run over a woman in a white coat realizing it was the doctor as Thomas looks at her then at Minho and nods.

Thomas lets go of my hand and grabs the woman as he looks at her. "You are gonna show us where Teresa is" He says looking at her. I watch Thomas grab her and we all start running again down the long hallway looking for the private medical wing.

We all turn a corner but stop when they hear a guy shout and have a gun. "Back up guys!" Thomas says pulling the girl away but I was scared when the guy shot at us as I felt a hand grab my hand pulling me away from the guy that's shooting at us.

Newt was running along with the others jealous that Thomas was holding my hand. He wanted to punch Thomas so bad but he couldn't do that cause he loved being friends with Thomas and loved being near me. When they saw the guy shooting his gun everyone ran down the other side.

He grabs my hand and runs down the hallway not letting go of it. I stop running with Newt when I see Minho running back to the guy. "Minho!!!!" I yelled holding Newt's hand worried and scared that he was gonna get hurt while Minho slams his knee right into the bad guy's stomach causing him to hit the wall.

Me and the others run back to Minho and the guy. "Damn Minho," Newt says, shocked as Thomas picks up the gun looking at it. "Let's go now." He says pointing the guy at her. I saw that she was now leading us in a different direction realizing she must have given them different directions because she was leading us to a random place but since Thomas has a gun she was leading us to the right place they needed to go.

Once we made it to the medical wing Thomas let her go first as we all heard. "You ready Mrs Crawford?" The guy asks as Thomas and the others push their way in. "Where is she?!" Thomas yells pointing the gun at them. I look at Newt still holding his hand as Thomas hands Minho the gun. "Alex, come help me tie their hands!" Newt says tying their hands up as I helped tie also.

Thomas sees a curtain hanging up and moves it seeing Teresa connected to wires and more. He woke her up looking at her worried. "T-thomas what's going on?" Teresa asks, looking around confused on what was happening. "Come on, we need to get out of here.." Thomas says, helping her up off the bed as Frypan yells. "They Are coming!" He says looking at Thomas and the others.

Newt looks around seeing the table. "Frypan move!!" He yells, flipping the table over on its side pushing it against the door making it locked. Minho looks around. "Thomas we are trapped!" He says holding the gun as Thomas looks at a glass window and grabs a chair slamming it into it as it didn't break. Oh God we are gonna die here instead.

"Newt. Newt help!!!" Thomas yells as Newt runs over grabbing a chair. "One, two and  three!!" Thomas says counting as they both slam the chairs into the glass causing it to break into little pieces. She looked around and grabbed a blanket off the bed she was sleeping on and placed it on the broken window letting Thomas cross the she climbed over.

Thomas picks up Teresa then places her down catching the gun that Minho threw at him as the others crossed over. I went up to the glass but got picked up by someone and placed over to the other side seeing Newt was the one that had picked me up.

Newt places me down away from the glass but that's when I realized I had no shoes on. I looked over seeing Newt climb over grabbing my hand again and runs following behind Thomas and  the others waiting for the door to open.

Once Thomas opened it a guy came running to us causing him to shoot the guy with the gun seeing that it was electric. I looked at the weapon in shock as we ran down the long hallway seeing a big door at the end. When we made it to the door Thomas took out the card key and swiped it seeing a red light pop up.

"No no why won't it work" Thomas says, shocked and hearing someone. "Thomas! Alex!" Janson yells from down the hallway holding up his hands. "Open the door Janson!" Thomas yells holding the gun up walking to him fuck he was yelling my name also.

"You really don't want me to!" Janson says walking closer. "Open the damn door Janson!!!" Thomas yells. "Listen, I'm trying to save your life! The maze is one thing but you kids wouldn't last one day out in the Scorch if the elements don't kill you the cranks will! Thomas you and Alex have to believe me I only want what's best for you" Janson says putting his hands down slowly. "Yeah let me guess WCKD is good?" Thomas and I asked, staring at him as Thomas was holding the gun.

While Minho was trying to open the door with the card key. "You're not getting through that door Thomas and Alex." Janson says, glaring at us as if on cue the door beeps and opens revealing Aris and Winston. "Hey guys" Aris says, looking at us. "Come on guys!" Frypan says running through the door with the others.

"Come on Thomas let's go!!" Newt yells as Thomas shoots at them, missing each shot as he throws the gun and runs down the hallway. "Shut the main vault door shut it!!" Janson yelled into his wrist as the door started to shut. "No Thomas!!!" Teresa yells as others start yelling at Thomas.

"Come on Thomas, you can do it!!" I yelled while watching him. "Move move!!! " Thomas yells as we move out of the way letting Thomas slide under the door.
