Survivor (Newt/Jasper Hale fanfic)

Chapter 24

Once we arrived at the spot me and the others got out looking up at it. "Wow that's big…" I  said shocked at how big the ship was as Newt smirks a bit, having a dirty mind as Fry laughs. "Alex is a bit naughty." He says as Thomas looks over at me. "Hey Alex can we talk real quick?" Thomas asks as I look at him and nods, walking over to him as I look up at him.

"What is it?" I asked as Thomas looked down at me. "Are you and Newt dating?" Thomas asks as I think. "I don't know ....he never asked and I didn't ask yet either I plan on asking him out tonight why?" I asked, looking at him still as Thomas looked over, seeing Newt staring us down and looking back at me.

"I don't care if he hates me, kiss me see if you like me." Thomas says, grabbing my hand. "N-no I like Newt and only him…I'm sorry Thomas…" I said walking away as I smiled at Newt. Thomas grabs my hand and pulls me close to him again and kisses me not caring that Newt saw.

My eyes widened as I pushed him away and smacked his cheek as tears fell. "Thomas, are you crazy?!" I yelled at him and walked away as I looked up seeing Newt, Brenda, Fry and Jorge had seen everything that happened. I sniffled and walked away going to the dock in the ocean and sitting down, tears falling.

Newt stands there mad, not able to say anything as Harriet and Brenda look at each other when they see Thomas try to go after me.  "Thomas, don't you have to deal with Newt. Me and Herriot will go talk to Alex." Brenda says as the two of them walked away going to the docks seeing me sitting there at the edge as they sat next to me. "You okay Alex?" Harriet asked as I shook my head.

"No I'm not….he kissed me I told him I liked Newt and now Newt will probably hate me and won't date me…" I said crying, hugging myself as Harriet and Brenda hugged me softly. "He won't hate you, he saw you push him away, he's probably mad at Thomas…" Brenda says hugging me while we are sitting on the dock.

Newt walks over to Thomas. "Seriously Tommy, why kiss her?!" Newt yells pissed off. "I like her too, Newt I want her as mine but she likes you more…" Thomas says as Newt sighs calming down. "Tommy, look you're my best friend I care about you but I'm madly in love with Alex and I don't want to lose her so don't ever kiss her again or I'll bloody punch you understand?" Newt says as Thomas nods his head.

"You better go check on her….and let her know that I'm sorry.." Thomas says walking away to help unpack. Newt runs his fingers through his hair and walks to the docks seeing Harriet and Brenda. "Can I talk to Alex?" He asks as the two girls nod and get up, leaving us as the two girls hide behind the box watching as Newt sits down next to me and grabs my hand.

"Are you okay?" Newt asks as I sniffled, nodding my head. "I'm okie Newtie." I said  as I looked over at Newt holding his hand back. "I talked to him…he realized what he did was wrong and he said he's sorry...also I'm madly in love with you ... .will you be my girlfriend?" Newt asks as I blushed, sniffling as I nod my head.

"Yes I would love to be your girlfriend!" I said smiling as Newt kissed me softly pulling me close to his chest as I kissed him back happily melting into his soft lips as we heard squeals from behind us causing us to pull away and look behind us seeing Harriet and Brenda.

I giggled blushing as I looked away shyly. "Come on, let's go help put away stuff." Newt says standing up as he helps me up holding each other's hands as they walk to the vehicles as they help put away stuff.

"Love, can we share a room together?" Newt asked, smirking, causing me to blush more. "Y-yes we can." I said looking up at him as Newt smiles and kisses my forehead walking away as he helps Thomas put away stuff that they got done when night time hits. I head over to Newt grabbing his hand shyly. "Ready for bed?" I asked as Newt nodded his head and walked to their room they had on the ship.
