~your POV~
School was over and you rushed through getting everything you needed from your locker for homework. You heard footsteps behind you turned your head to see who it was. It was April and Casey again.
"You haven't been bothered by bob at all since this morning, right?" she asked, she seemed genuinely concerned for me.... yet again last time I thought that I was backstabbed by that person.
"He usually only does it in the mornings" I said turning back to my locker but not lowering my guard.
"Gosh your tense" Casey pointed out. April rolled her eyes at him.
"Sometimes you need to be" I replied simply.
"What are you doing after school?" April asked changing the subject after an awkward silence between us.
"Visiting a friend" I said closing my locker and turning to them.
"Do they go to school here? Maybe we know them?" April asked.
"No, they are homeschooled" I lied.
"You only have one friend?" Casey asked rudely.
"CASEY" April scolded.
"Yes, you have a problem with that?" I stiffened and glared at him.
"I uh erm n-no" Casey said nervously looking everywhere but at me.
"Alright" I said relaxing just a little. April then got a text on her phone.
"Casey, we need to get going" she said and then waved bye to me. I waved back and left to the bathroom again to change my bandages.
~le time Skip cuz lazy~
I started to walk to the forest a little bit of bounce in my step. Boy, Jewel is going to be excited to hear about what happened today an-, my thoughts where interrupted by a scrape of metal on concrete in the alley right next to me. My head twisted around so fast I swear I almost got whiplash, oh and I scared April and Casey.... WAIT APRIL AND CASEY?! We just stared at each other for a solid 5 minutes. I then broke the eye contact and walked off leaving them absolutely confused out of their minds.
~Aprils POV~
(Y/N) just saw us. She looked directly at us and then just walked off like she saw nothing. What!? I climbed out of the manhole Casey right behind me. We were going to check out what the turtles needed cause Donnie sent a text saying they found something on one of the Kraangs plans. We were halfway in the manhole when (Y/N) passed by and you know the story from there.
"Wait!" I called out to (Y/N) they stopped and turned around their guard was always up for some reason even after I saved them from the bully. The reason constantly eluded me though.
"How in the world are you not like interrogating us right now?!" Casey almost shouted after we caught up.
"..." (Y/N) stayed silent.
"What Casey is trying to say," I said through gritted teeth," is why aren't you questioning us about our secret?" I finished still kind of confused.
"Just because you have a secret doesn't mean I need to know it" They answered finnaly
"What?" Me and Casey said in unison both equally confused.
"You have your secrets I have mine, I would rather keep my secret a secret so what say you don't want your secret to say secret Aswell" she said, then i realized she is way deeper than I thought. I thought she was just some quiet kid that kept to themselves, but really, they are empathetic and so much more.
"Oh, so your just goanna forget you saw us?" Casey asked after a short silence.
"yes" she answered simply.
"Thank you" I said, and I dragged Casey off back to the manhole.
I turned around and she was continuing to walk down the street. Like we never even talked. Boy, do I have an interesting story for the boys when we get down there.
