Important keys:

(Y/N) = Your Name

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Your POV~
You were walking home from visiting jewel. It's been 12 years since you first met them (your 17 now), and you had quickly became best buds. Sure, you had other friends then Jewel, key word had, we don't talk about them. The main point is now I have no idea if someone truly wants to be my friend anymore. The abuse I get at home and bullying I get at school don't help either, causing me to not trust other people. Oh but (Y/N) isn't jewel- A tree? yeah exactly why she is way better than any human ever.
Moving on, I was walking till I felt a cold shiver up my spine, I felt like I was being watched. I looked around only to see no one around. Maybe my nerves are getting to me. I got home and as I got to the door, I could already hear my parents shouting, I rolled my eyes, my life has somehow fallen into some loop/routine: I would go to school, go straight to Jewel's cave, walk home close to dark, get home, and now getting scolded by my drunk, hypocritical parents on being out so late.
As soon as I shut the door the shouting was silenced.
"(Y/N) ..." My dad slurred stumbling towards me disgust written on his face.
"Ugh, worthless brat always going out late, probably why you're such a pain in my side" Mom looked pointed at my dad for the last part accusingly.
"Mom, Dad, I am home exactly at my curfew-" I started before I felt a harsh slap across my cheek.
"Hush you, it's past ten" Dad growled, then he did something new. He broke the beer bottle he was holding, forcefully pushed me to the ground, and then hit me with it a few times. I was left with a bloody gash in my arm, on my cheek, and torso. The gash in my torso had a piece of glass stuck in it making it pain full to move. Then my mom advanced on me.
~Times Skip to in the bathroom after the beating~
I had bandaged all of my cuts and put ointment on my bruises the last part was the gash in my torso, which was still throbbing in pain. I tried to gently remove the piece of glass, but only cause myself even more pain I was in. I pushed through and finished pulling out the shard of glass and quickly put medication on it and bandaged it up.
Now that was done, I went to my room did my homework and went to bed ready to start that loop/routine all over again.
~Time skip to next day at school~ (don't mind me just controlling time itself)
I got to school the gash was acting up, but the bruises were all basically invisible by now. I was walking in the hallway to my next class when one of my bullies, Bob (Very creative ik :>), stopped me in the hallway.
"Where you goin class doesn't start till in 5 minutes" Bob smirked.
"None-ya" I hissed and stepped to get around him.
"Heh, what you scared of something? Physical contact maybe?" He said blocking my way and shoving me back, causing me to stumble back a little bit.
"Just leave me alone" I said getting a little aggravated.
"Why" he said taking a threatening step closer.
"..." I stayed silent not wanting to talk to him. Instead, I turned around and started to walk away.
Bob quickly grabbed my wrist harshly and held on to it so tight my hand started to change color.
"Let me go" I said struggling to break free from him.
"I don't think I will," He smirked, gripping my hand even tighter making me flinch a little in pain.
"HEY" A voice yelled out sounding annoyed from across the hall.
"Ugh, you again" Bob glared at red haired girl that was coming towards us from across the hall.
I took the distraction as a chance to break free from bob's grip. He immediately noticed and quickly took action, shoving me hard against the lockers. As my back hit the lockers my torso flared up in pain from the gash, I now would have to go to the bathroom to change the bandages after this. Bob pinned me to the lockers by the arms pushing them harder against the lockers, making me flinch in pain again.
"I SAID STOP" The red head shoved bob out of the way so hard he hit the floor almost taking me with him.
"Tsk, this isn't over (Y/N)" he hissed, got up, and stalked off.
She glared in the direction Bob left in for a bit, then relaxed. I kid with black hair came up next to them looking in the same direction.
"You went pretty hard on him" The Black-haired kid snickered.
"Well, he wouldn't have left if I didn't" The red head replied, then turning to me as I was about to sneak off.
"Are you alright?" She asked, she looked concerned.
"y-yes" I said close to a whisper shrinking down to look smaller.
"What?" the Black-haired kid stated kind of loudly.
"She said yes, Casey" The red head rolled her eyes.
"How was I supposed to know she talks very quiet" The person so-called Casey retorted.
"t-thanks for h-helping me" I said still pretty quiet, I was mostly focused on judging wither they were a threat or not.
"No problem, has he been at this for a while?" She smiled, I nodded.
"Oh.... well, I'm April O'Neill and my friend here," she gestured to the kid next to her," Is Casey Jones."
"h-hello April and Casey I-I'm (Y-Y/N)" I stuttered out, still feeling the throbbing pain in my torso.
"It's nice to meet you. (Y/N)" April smiled warmly at you.
"You stutter like A LOT" Casey pointed out.
"Casey" April scolded.
"What it's just an observation" he said mockingly, most likely referring to some event that happened before they were talking to me.
"Any way" April sighed "do you need us to walk you to class?"
"NO!" I yelped panicked, earning question gases towards me "I-I just really need to go to the bathroom before school starts in all." I finished, rubbing the back of my neck.
"Oh, well, if he messes with you again yell out for us" April said before walking off, Casey following close behind.
You bolted for the bathroom as fast as the pain would allow you. Immediately went into a stall and took of the now re-bloodied bandage, changing it into a new one. You sighed and sunk down against the wall of the stall.
"That was new" you said before getting up and heading to class.
