~April's POV~

Me and Casey were walking into the school, after talking to Donnie in the sewers. I had told him about how me and Casey met (Y/n) and asked if he could keep an eye on the school's security cameras.

We heard shouting from further up the hallway. It sounded like Bob was at it again. I got a text alert from Donnie that made my stomach drop.

Donnie: (Y/n)'s seemed to have got themselves into some fight.

Casey and I made eye contact, and we ran down the hallway, when we got there two of Bob's goons were holding them in place while Bob was punching them. As we pushed through the crowd, I heard a harsh fit of coughs. Casey was the first to make it to the front of the crowd.

"I THOUGHT WE TOLD YOU TO LEAVE THEM ALONE!" He shouted.

"Ugh, you keep your nose out of my business dim whit!" Bob hissed back turning and falling to the ground as he was tackled by Casey.

I made it the goons and after a bit was able to get them off (Y/n). I looked down at the floor and saw a drop of blood had splattered onto it. Thats not good, I thought. I wrapped her arm around my shoulder nodding to Casey to keep Bob busy and I quickly left to get to the back of the school. 

With my other free hand, I texted Donnie.

April: meet us at the back of the school.

Donnie: already on the way there.

I continued to speed walk down the hall, no I am not about to take her to the school nurse, they would just give them an ice pack and say they are good! I looked down at (Y/n) wondering if I should tell the school they got sick or something to cover for them.

~Leo's POV~

We hid in the shadows as we waited for April and (Y/n), I was panicking inside. When Donnie rushed out and explained what I happened my mind started running a mile a minute. How bad are they hurt? Are any injuries from the fight with tiger claw re-opened? 

I forced myself to not show how worried I was for the sake of the others, Mikey was freaking out, Donnie was pacing, and Raph just didn't want to be there. Once April made it out with (Y/n) I was horrified at the sight, they had blood dripping out of their mouth and there were some stray bandages that were soaked in fresh blood, and their jaw had a large bruise on the side.

"Did the bullies do this to them!?" Mikey yelped horrified.

"I can't be sure" April said sadly.

"we'll take them from here you need to get back to school," I said while picking (Y/n) up bridal style.

"alright" April nodded and went back inside, probably to help Casey out.

We started running back to the lair. I had my full attention on sticking to the shadows, not noticing (Y/n)'s barely conscious eyes flicker open looking slightly glazed over with pain and breathing heavy. We made it to the manhole and disappeared inside. As we were running to the layer I glanced down at (Y/n) to find them just barely awake and a light blush dusted across their face.

Though we made eye contact their gaze was distant like they weren't concentrating on what was around them. Probably because of the pain, I thought. I carefully held them closer as though that would protect them from the pain.

We burst back into the lair and me and Donnie ran into the lab. I gently laid them down on the metal table causing them to slightly shiver. I carefully grabbed their hand and squeezed it comfortingly. (Y/n) turned their head towards me pain clear in their distant gaze.

~Your POV~

Everything was a blur I could barely pay attention to anything, because of blood loss. I could only hear Jewel as though she was yelling at me from far away,

SHARDS! YOU BETTER NOT DIE ON ME!

I mentally hissed in pain as a response.

I felt a comforting squeeze on my hand, I barely noticed the blush I had on my cheeks as I stared into Leo's soft sympathetic eyes.

"I got the bandages and medicine" Donnie said rushing over.

"Alright (Y/n) this is going to hurt a little bit, but it will be alright," Leo warned squeezing my hand softly. I blinked in response.

I SWEAR next time you come into contact with that bully you better beat him up SO bad for me! Jewel grumbled, making a ghost of a smile grace my face.

Like I can even move right now, I laughed mentally.

OH, AND NOW YOU HEAR ME NEVER DO THAT TO ME AGAIN!!! Jewel fussed, keeping me distracted from Donnie removing my hoodie and gently removing the bandages, while Leo was confused why I had the smallest of smiles on even through all this pain you were experiencing.

Hahahah- SHARDS! I mentally cursed, unknowingly squeezing Leo's hand tighter in pain as Donnie applied the medicine.

OI YOU BETTER NOT START IGNORING ME AGAIN!! Jewel yelped fear lacing her voice.

heh I am fully conscious right now, I thought making a face because of the pain as Donnie moved onto a cut near my abdomen.

Hey. Hey. Whoa. focus on me I know it hurts just focus on me. Jewel said noticing the pain I was in.

I grimaced in pain again, and Leo comfortingly squeezed my hand a little more.

Awe your crush cares about youuu. Jewel gushed smugly.

W-what!? Jewel!? I thought as my face turned almost as bright as Raph's mask.

Good you're listening. Jewel said.

Jewel, I swear. I thought threateningly.

~No one's POV~

Donnie was almost done with treating your wounds, now done with all the worst wounds, and Leo was carefully watching as your face suddenly turned as red as Raph's mask. 

"Done," Donnie stated stepping back shoulders relaxing, and heading out of the lab to let the others and master splinter know.

"(Y/n) how are you feeling" Leo asked concern clear in his gaze.

"Like a giant bolder crushed me" (Y/n) said smiling a little and earning a small chuckle from Leo.

"You should rest, I'll come back and check on you later," Leo said reluctantly letting go of your hand and walking out, leaving you with your thoughts and Jewel.

After a bit of Jewel fussing over you, you fell into a deep restless sleep.
