Chapter 4 {Watched}

~Leo's POV~

I leapt from rooftop to rooftop. Me and my brothers split up for patrol to cover more ground, I stopped in the shadows of the rooftops and looked down. Every night someone with (H/L) (H/C) would walk by, and almost on the dot they were walking by. I shook my head why did I even notice them in the first place? Was it the fact that they walk the same path each night, or something else? 

They suddenly stopped and looked around, confused and suspicious I crept a little closer to the edge of the building staying close to the shadows. They turned around in a full circle before shrugging and moving on. Odd, I thought, did she feel me watching or something? They seemed to space out, because I saw a faraway look in their eyes.

I returned back to my patrol, deciding it was risky staying any longer.

~Your POV~

I reached home, I was a little confused on what happened earlier, but I couldn't dwell on it. I went inside only to be met by the fury of my drunk parents.

"Where have you bee you worthless brat" Mom hissed.

"Mom you should know by now-" I started.

"Hush you little-" Dad interrupted.

" Listen here don't talk back to us and don't lie to us. You know very well that you're so worthless and disgusting that no one would even care about you" Mom hissed interrupting dad.

For once they struck a chord within me. No, they are wrong at least one person cares about me; I thought repeating it over and over to myself starting to tear up. I took a step back tears starting to stream down my face.

"Cry all you want you know it's true now get out of our sight before we make you" Dad said glaring at me and my tears. He despised crying, so over the years I would only let myself cry Infront of Jewel.

I ran up to my room and shut the door hard but not enough to slam it. I curled up into a ball on my (F/C) sheets, that my grandparents bought me, sobbing like I have in nights of the past. 

I suddenly got up and went to my window opening it and silently slipping down the fire escape. I bolted towards the forest. I needed to see Jewel. I needed her comfort, just her presence in general. I didn't need to rant all I wanted, was the comfort from someone that I know cared about me no matter what my parents said.

My guard was completely down, for once. That was my biggest mistake, because the next thing I knew a cold robotic arm shot out of an alley, causing me to yelp, and dragged me into it.

~Leo's POV~

I was running at full speed, on my way back when I heard a yelp from a nearby alley. I skidded to a halt and slipped into the shadows of it and my eyes widened in shock.

It was that person that I saw walking down the street each night. Now here they were struggling against the Kraang. Two were holding them by the arms, while one was Infront of them trying to talk to them.

"Kraang is asking the one known as the (Y/N) about what is known to Kraang as the new power source." The Kraang droid said as I slipped silently into the alley. 

"I have no idea what you're talking about" (Y/N) hissed still trying to twist their way out of the droid's grip.

"Then those who are known as Kraang will have to take you to what is known to Kraang as 'The Base'" The Kraang droid said.

"I would rather not" (Y/N) growled.

~No one's POV~

They stilled for a moment then took the droids by Suprise and suddenly, and violently, yanked themself out of their grasp. They were about to run off, but another droid came out of the shadows and quickly punched them in the torso, causing them to slam into the wall behind them. They grimaced in pain using the wall as support they glared at the advancing droids.

 A droid lifted a stun gun, but before it could even shoot Its arm, with the gun, was sliced off. Leo stepped out of the shadows and quickly started to fight the other droids. (Y/N) looked in the direction of the turtle confused. They heard the sound of a droid behind them, but as they were about to turn and back off from it, the droid grabbed them from behind lifting them off the ground and putting some fowl smelling cloth over their mouth and nose.

Leo had just finished off the other droids before he saw the finial droid dragging you off with a drugged cloth over your mouth and nose, you looked like you were just barely holding onto your consciousness. He leaped behind the Droid effectively finishing it off without hurting you.

You dropped to the ground and tried to prop yourself up on the wall. Still fighting to keep your consciousness, you looked at the person-er turtle who saved you. You both made I contact, your (E/C) eyes locked with his electric blue eyes. He took a step towards you, but you stepped back, even though you were mainly focused on staying conscious you instinctively didn't trust him.

"A-are you okay?" His deep leader-like voice resounded off the walls of the alley.

"I am fine" You forced out still fighting to keep your consciousness, a battle you were starting to lose.

"I know it's shocking to see a turtle mutant run, scream, heck even cry out in fear if you want, I understand," he said looking down at the ground hand on his neck.

"c-can't really go a-anywhere are the m-moment" You mumbled quietly thinking he wouldn't hear. He did.

Leo stood there surprised for a moment not expecting this reaction out of you then his eyes trailed to your now reddening shirt.

"You're hurt!" He exclaimed rushing up to you. You stepped back a few steps.

"Just let me take you to my home I can patch you up-" Leo stopped as he noticed the look in your eyes. You didn't trust him at all, that would be problematic when helping you.

"N-no I'm f-f-fin-" You cut off as you couldn't fight off the peaceful black darkness any longer.

The last thing you saw was Leo running towards you and catching you before you hit the ground, then your vision blurred, and you finally accepted the peaceful darkness.
