Mineta: Where were you Kenji? You almost missed Midoriyas match.

Kenji sat next to Mineta eager to see how the round played out. But not before glancing at Mina. Just as Mina was about to glance back, Kenji quick looked back at the stadium. Why did he do that? Well not even he knew. He felt confused and internally conflicted with his emotions.

Mic: The first fight and it going of big classmate vs classmate. CLASS 1A vs CLASS 1A. IZZZZUUUUUKKKUUU MIDORIYA VS HANNNNNNATTTTTAAAA SEERRROOOOOOOO!

The crowd cheered out in excitement for the first tournament match. Big expectations filled the stadium to see what the class of future top heroes were capable of.

Sero: No issue if we get this over quickly.

Mic: The rules are simple. If the opponent leaves the ring, can't move or says "I give up." Then the victory is yours. Don't worry about going over board. We have Recovery Girl on standby and Cementoss and Midnight to intervene if necessary. Of course threatening your opponents life unnecessarily is a immediately disqualification. Now without ado. LET THE BATTLE COMMENCE.

Sero threw out his tape from both arms in attempts to capture Midoriya. However Midoriya and his body were covered in green sparks as he ducked bellow the tape and grabbed it. Sero immediately cut the tape knowing what could of happened if he didn't. Sero readied to shoot more tape toward Midoriya.

Midoriya charged at Sero. Sero threw out tape but Midoriya sidestepped each attack. Sero flicked his arm across, the tape whipping together but Midoriya jumped over it towards Sero. Sero tried to gain as much distance as possible but he was at the edge of the ring. Sero fired out another round of tape but Midoriya dodged again going up and under the tape. Sero having no other option swung a stray fist at Midoriya. Midoriya stepp d forward and parried the punch and in one swift motion delivered a light backhand into the side of Seros head. Hitting him out of the ring.

Midnight: Seros out. Midoriya advances to round 2.

Midoriya jumps out of the arena and in front of Sero. Stretching out his hand towards Sero on the ground.

Midoriya: No hard feeling right.

Sero had a big smile as he grabbed Midoriyas hand. Midoriya pulled him up as they walked towards the stadium seating.

Scene change

Mineta: Midoriya did great didn't he. He was so fast. He looked better than when we were in the USJ

Kirishima: Yeah he didn't even get hit. His movements seemed so fluid.

Kenji: {That was only 5% though. Has he not been training or is he holding back. No his movements were to fluid to have not trained. Maybe I'm expecting too much progress. Though his technique was impressive.}

Momo: Midoriya seems to have really improved compared to when we did the villain vs hero battles. Before then he would break his bones consistently using his quirk.

Kenji: The question is how much has he improved?

The next battle Todoroki vs Kaminari went very similar to the cannon battle Todoroki vs Sero. Todoroki obviously still met his father and was needing to blow off steam. The look on his face said that much. He waved his hand and encased Kaminari in a giant shard of ice, outstretching the stadium. The air frosted and Todoroki had large clumps of frost forming on his skin. However, Kaminari used a massive charge of lightning to free himself. The ice around him melting near instantly. But this ended in his defeat. Completely frying his brain and falling on the floor acting all sorts of way not fitting of his age. Todoroki sliding him off the stadium with shard of ice.
