Ch 15 - A First Date

Kenji was seen running down the hall way and stopping dead at a waiting room door. He opened it and there she was. Mina. Kenji didn't even get time to shut the door before Mina jumped at him latching onto him. It looked much like a koala on a tree

Mina: I CANT BELIEVE I HAVE A BOYFRIEND. Wait. I CANT BELIVE YOU ANNOUNCED IT TO THE WORLD! WHY DID YOU DO THAT?!

Mina looked into his eyes while she was still latched to Kenji. Her emotions completely mixed. Both happiness and annoyance were on her face and in her voice.

Kenji: I just wanted so see how flustered you would get. I think when you're flustered it's kinda cute. It's a great look on you.

Kenji smiled at a small blush growing on her face. Mina then gave Kenji a quick peck on the lips. Causing him to blush a bit.

Mina: I also think that a blush looks really cute on you.

They both smiled while staring into each others eyes. A idea then passed through his head.

Kenji: I'm just putting an idea out here but, would you want to spend the weekend doing stuff with me?

Mina: Stuff?!

Mina blushed fiercely.

Kenji: Yeah it's not very well planned but we could go places during the weekend. Enjoy it together.

Mina: You mean like a date?

Kenji: Yeah like a date.

Mina gave a slight look of relief that confused Kenji. She then gave another kiss on his lips, making Kenji blush again.

Mina: I would love to go on a date with you! Do you want my number?

Kenji then looked away.

Kenji: I, kinda, don't have a phone.

Mina: WHATT! How?!

Kenji: I just didn't have time to get one with all the studying, planning, training and coming to this world not to long ago not more than a few weeks ago.

Mina flicked Kenji in the forehead.

Mina: First thing we do on the date is find you a phone. Meet me at the front of UA at 9?

Kenji: Am or Pm?

Mina: Definitely am. I want to spend the whole day with you.

Kenji smiled at her remark.

Kenji: Then it's a date.

After the sports festival ended and the weekend came Kenji was waiting outside of UA by the front gates. He had heard from a old movie he watching in his previous life that a gentleman never makes a lady wait. So he made sure he arrived earlier than planned. He was wearing a casual white T-shirt and black checkered flannel he had just brought and some black jeans. He had planned the day out after the sports festival. He wanted to make sure the date went well as this would be his first ever date.

Then as he looked down the long stretching road that lead to UA he saw Mina and his jaw dropped. She was beautiful. Wearing figure hugging denim shorts with a white crop to that said "Pinky" in bold pink writing. Over that she was wearing a purple and blue jacket. A similar design to her hero uniform, paired along with her black high top shoes and a black clutch bag in hand.

Mina: Hahahaha. I wore this to make you blush but to think your mouth actually dropped open. Hahahahahaha

Mina clutching her stomach from how funny she found his reaction. Kenji shook his head and snapped out of his pseudo-trance of Mina.
