Ch 42 - Going Somewhere New

Kenji woke up and decided to go on a small trip. Immediately going to his library.

Kenji: Ok. So what place today? I feel a bit curious on what other places are like in person now everything has settled down. Though it can't be anywhere to powerful like dragon ball, though not too weak like slice of life. Hmmmmm. That time I got reincarnated as a slime. Nah I would probably die if I pissed off the wrong person. Dxd. Hmm that's okay. Good powers to copy from there. Let's pin that.

Kenji then scrolled through the vast library.

Tanya the Evil. Nah.
Stranger Things. Nope.
Adventurer Time. NO!
Solo Leveling. Hmmm nah.
I Am The Sorcerer king. Pin that for now.

Kenji had looked for a while and had a few ideas. Dxd, Sorcerer King, Jojo and SSS Class Suicide Hunter.

Kenji: All have pretty good powers to copy. All are kinda within my power range. Hmmm. Maybe Sorcerer King is too much for now. JoJo I only want the world stand so I guess I can't get that much. So now it DXD and SSS Class Suicide hunter. Both have quite a bit. Both would give me a lot. Both I really like. Damn. Choosing is harder than I thought. It's like having too many choices of food. {Though I've never really experienced that before.}

Kenji laid down and thought staring at the roof of his library. He never noticed but not only did the library span a great distance away horizontally in all directions but also a great distance vertically. He however, didn't pay too much attention. Just thinking and thinking.

Kenji: Ok let's go to DXD. After that I'll just knock out the Flame Emperor from SSS Class Suicide hunter for the Returners Winding Clock. Though I won't save that file. I don't want the MC to be stuck with his crappy life.

Kenji then search up DXD and tapped the top one. The cannon verse.

Scene change

Kenji appeared looking around. He had immediately stumbled into a problem. He had no clue where he was.

Kenji: Where am I?

Kenji walked down the street and still couldn't see anything rememberable.

Kenji: Fuck! Why couldn't I spawn somewhere like the Kuoh Academy or something. Not some random street.

Kenji kept on walking around. Trying to find something, anything memorable.

Kenji: Damn this is harder without the systems initial guidance.

Kenji then walked right in front of a nearby stranger. Cornering him into a wall.

Kenji: Hey, excuse me but where is Kuoh Academy. I seem to be lost.

The guy seemed a bit shaken from being cornered by someone much bigger than him. Like he was being pat down for his wallet. But he tried to speak up anyways.

Stranger: Well your pretty far off. If I were to give you directions I would probably say try and stay in that direction as much as possible and you'll pass it sooner or later.

The stranger pointed through a building so Kenji assumed he just meant straight.

Kenji: Thanks.

Kenji then disappeared leaving the stranger completely startled and confused on what just happened. Kenji had to do multiple Spacial Hops before finding the school grounds. Though it was silent and he could see people in classroom.

Kenji: Holy fuck that was so far. Why drop me on a random street?! What's up with that!

Kenji then strolled into the main building and wondered the halls. For a place full of devils security was severely lacking. Kenji wondered all the halls seeing all students in classes. Until he came across the principals office. Kenji walked in and saw a older female behind the desk. Though for an older woman. Somehow, some way. The woman looked great. Though it made Kenji question whether coming to this universe was the correct choice.
