"Absolutely not."

Those were the last words the four boys said in sync before putting on a full on performance.

It all started with Shoko laughing at those words. She had expected it after her song choice. There were weird tensions in the group that were going to be fixed with this one performance.

"That's unfortunate." Shoko squirmed into the booth wrapping her arm around Kanae resting her head on her shoulder. "Kanae told me that N-Sync was one of the boy bands she loved when she was younger. 'Bye Bye Bye' is one of their most iconic songs. It would be extremely disappointing if you guys didn't perform it for her. Right Kanae?"

The plum-eyed girl began to rub her eyes. "I was really looking forward to this. It would bring back warm memories from my stays in America."

Her big glossy eyes gently rose fuchsia. The passion and want were emitted through her pretty pink orbs.

"Fine. Just one song." Gojo couldn't say no to that look.

The guys reluctantly gave in marching over to the stage. Gojo took the lead position as they all accepted their fate. Haibara was a bit more optimistic and even excited seeing Nanami join in on their foolishness. They didn't want to see Kanae sad.

The whole point of this was to make her happy right?

The karaoke number for the iconic NSYNC song was not just sung, but performed. Gojo along with Haibara committed to their strong vocals. The blue-eyed boy's was filled with power and range, saving the awful singing coming out of the other parties.

As the chorus neared, Kanae urged and signaled them to do the trendy dance of jumping and bopping their heads. Haibara caught on quick while Nanami refused to move and Geto decided to commit to the head bop. Gojo followed her but found himself growing more passionate as he sang. He was great at it, but he hadn't really done anything like that. It was a new type of exhilaration.

The one song became multiple.

They sang many many songs together to the point they were hyping each other up on stage. As Nanami took his own solo, Gojo began to take his role as a back dancer. The stoic male couldn't help but break into a smile witnessing the ridiculousness of his upperclassman. Haibara and Geto even singing the chorus arm in arm. Shoko and Kanae couldn't help but cheer the reunion of the boys.

No matter what issues they had, they were always going to be the closest friends.

"You guys were amazing!" Shoko cheered as the four sat at the booth. "You guys really became a real boy band towards the end. Maybe you guys should drop sorcery and start singing."

"That would be fun, right Nanami?" Haibara glanced to his friend who shook his head.

"That would be ridiculous. Especially with your awful vocals we wouldn't make it that far."

"Even so, that sounds like a yes to me!" Haibara looking towards the positive side of it.

It was a fun night. A great one in awhile. Jujutsu Tech and everyone there felt like her family. Even though it wasn't the ideal life she planned for herself, she was growing to love it.

Feeling suffocated with the mushy feelings within her, Kanae stepped out the booth. "I'm going to get some fresh air. I'll be on the balcony."

She walked away as the group prepared to order more food. Geto and Shoko sharing looks before glancing at Gojo who seemed unsettled.

Stretching his arms, he slipped out of the booth himself. "I'm gonna use the washroom."

"Yeah, you do that." Shoko winked at him garnering an eye roll.
