Here we are again with another book. The love you have all shown to my other ones is immeasurable. It means the world to me. All the votes, reads, comments, posts on my profile, and input mean just so much. More than you'll ever know.
This will be a book about an extramarital affair. It will have a substantial age gap. I'm thinking a married man in his early 50's and an 18 year old girl. I love a big age gap, you all know that. That's really all I've got so far in terms of ideas, but I'm etching it out right now. I'm floating the idea of both people being married or the older man to be the leading girls best friends' father. But I really don't know yet. It will be smutty, of course, with lots of sex and fucking and forbidden stuff. I want it to be a love story, of course, but I'm not sure what I want to do with it exactly or how it will pan out.
It will be reminiscent of The Father in some ways. But it will likely be written completely from a female POV instead of a male POV. I warned in that book you'd hate the main characters, but a lot of you seem to love them. Who knows what you'll think of these ones.
I do know that I have been obsessed with The Affair on Showtime and Dominic West currently has me in a chokehold. I don't even have names picked out for my characters yet, but I will be writing the older man to look like him. I'm obsessed and it's partly because he resembles my husband a great deal. Dark eyes, dark hair, and a strong jaw line are always sexy.
I hope you all will come and read this book once I get it started. In the meantime I will be finishing up The Affair and bringing it to a close. That's my priority at the moment but if inspiration hits, I'll try to publish the first chapter here.
