Lisa shook her head and clenched the side of the bed.  "I can't believe this," she said quietly to herself.

"I'm very sorry...but I don't know what to do."  Michael looked at her as she was avoiding eye contact with him.

"I can't believe you would deceive a person like that...and for so long."  She looked at him.

But he looked away, ashamed.  "I know."

"Six months into a relationship or whatever you two had and she couldn't tell?"

"With the make-up over the prosthetics and her juvenile knowledge of 'Michael Jackson,' yes.  I have photos if you want to see."

"Please.  Show me."

He got up off the bed and went down to his walk-in closet.

Instead of waiting, Lisa decided to go follow him to quicken the process.  She was curious of this master disguise he had.

He handed her a stack of photos.  She flipped through them in amazement.  "Wow...and you just kept doing this same look over and over again?"

"Yeah.  Karen took the first few pictures."  Karen was his long-time make-up artist and friend.  "She helped me initially but then I started doing it on my own.  See." He grabbed one of the pictures from her.  "These were two different days," he said pointing to the one that was in her hand.

Lisa compared the two pictures.  "You did a damn good job.  I guess I can see how she wouldn't notice."

"Yeah," he said smirking.

"Don't smile, Michael."

"I'm not smiling," he said defensively.

"Sooo....Ava still has the letter?"

"She said she does but I can't believe anything that girl says."

Lisa stepped out of the closet and took a seat in a chair.

Michael followed behind her and stood in front of her.

"Do you still love her?" she asked looking up at him.

The question caught Michael off guard.  All he could do was laugh.

"What the hell does that mean?"

He shrugged his shoulders.

"Did you love her then?"

"Yes," he said with no hesitation.  "It was all in the letter.  But I don't want you to think I would sacrifice my marriage for her.  I just want to tell her the truth because I want my son.  And because you're my wife, I came to you before I took any action.  We have to be on this together."

"Well then tell her, Michael."

"When?  Should it be before or after the party?  I don't know how she's going to react and I don't want her to do something crazy like make us cancel his birthday party here.  It'll just break his heart."

"So you know for sure he's yours?"

"Yes he's mine.  Spitting image of me when I was younger," Michael said smiling big.  "He's adorable.  He has a head full of curls, chunky cheeks and the cutest little voice."

"Okay." She said not really wanting to hear anymore.  "So tell her after the party, even though you should be on the phone with her right now telling her everything but..."

"But there's my son who's involved now so it's complicated.  I would hate for her to tear me away from him just because of her hatred towards me."

"You really think she'll throw hatred towards you?"
