It was Thursday morning and Cynthia was over Liliana's place looking over the design she came up with for her wedding dress.

They were sitting at the kitchen table looking at the sketches.

"I love it!" Cynthia said. "It's there but it's not overwhelming. It's perfect!" Cynthia was obsessed with cheetah print. She had it tattooed all down her back.

"Well we want it to remain elegant so I think the white and gold will be pretty."

"Soooo...how are things going?"

"What do you mean?"

"With Michael and everything."

"Oh. Well Micah calls him first thing when he gets home from school every day."

"Someone sounds jealous."

Liliana laughed. "I'm not going to lie. I am."

"But wait, are you jealous of Michael or Micah?"

Liliana laughed again. "Michael. I don't care about Michael. He said what we had is gone so."

"Yeah but we both know that's not true."

"It doesn't matter because he told me that him and Lisa are back together."

Someone started knocking on the door. Liliana got up and walked to the living room and checked the peep hole. She looked back at Cynthia. "Holy shit, it's the girl," she whispered.

"Who?"

"Sarah-Ava girl. His cousin."

"Answer it."

Liliana opened the door. "Hey." She gave her a half smile.

"Hey. Can I come in for just a second? I would say what I have to say here but I don't know how nosey your neighbors are."

Liliana lived in an apartment complex. "Sure come in." She shut the door behind Ava. "How did you know where I lived?"

"I'm good at finding out those types of things when someone isn't hiding."

"Oh. Well what's up?"

Ava looked at Cynthia and smiled then back at Liliana. "I had to come and explain myself."

"Yeah that would be nice. Michael sent you here?"

"No. I haven't spoken or seen Michael since I last saw you that day at his house."

"So you know nothing about him telling me about...everything?"

"He told you?"

Liliana looked down. "Yeah. About the whole Micah thing and we told Mikey on Sunday and he couldn't be happier." She looked at Ava and smiled.

"Wow." Ava genuinely smiled back. "I'm happy things are out in the open now. That's good."

"Yeah but I'm still confused as to why you switched the letters. If that part is even true."

"So he left out that part?"

"Yeah. Care to explain." Liliana folded her arms. "I mean you're supposed to be family. Why would you do that?"

Ava sighed and was a little nervous to confess the truth. "I been working as Michael's personal assistant since the early 80's and during my employment with him, we started dating secretly. I'm not his cousin. I'm his ex. "

Liliana slowly inhaled. "The secrets just don't stop huh?"

"We broke up in 86 but I started working for him again around the time he started seeing you."
