It was June and Michael's album HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book I was being released on the 16th. He was busy promoting the album but there was a day Liliana knew he was home and she had very exciting news to share with him.
Michael recently introduced her to his long time costume designers Dennis Tompkins and Michael Bush. They became mentors to Liliana and they called her with an offer she couldn't refuse. Since Michael was the one who introduced to her to the guys, she wanted him to be the first to know her exciting news. After the paternity test came back proving to whomever that Michael was really Micah's father, it seemed to her that Michael was drifting away from her again but she figured it was just because he was busy with his new album.
She rode up to the front gate in her brand new car Michael recently bought her. She spoke to security on the intercom.
"Hi Dave," she said sweetly. "It's me."
"I know. I see you. Umm, Michael's unavailable though."
"What do you mean?"
"The main house is off limits right now."
Liliana rolled her eyes. "Umm, open the damn gate."
"I can't. I'm not trying to lose my job."
"Fine, I won't bother him. And I'm on the very important people list so..."
Dave, Michael's security, laughed at her. "I'm opening the gate but don't ride up to the house. Come see me really quick. I'm stationed at the security headquarters."
Liliana laughed as the gates slowly opened. "Okay." She drove her car inside and parked near the security office. She stepped out of her car and walked in to see Dave.
"Hi beautiful," he said smiling hard at her.
"Hi. What's going on?"
He sighed and looked down, shaking his head. "Why do you keep letting him do this to you?"
"Do what?"
Dave looked at her. "Don't tell anyone I'm telling you this! I don't want to lose my job but...damn Liliana. You're a good girl and you deserve somebody better."
Liliana didn't really understand where this was coming from. "Huh?"
"I know you been seeing Michael. Don't act silly around me."
"We're not seeing each other," she said with an attitude.
"Well I know he's been trying to get back with you. He told me."
"He told you what?" Liliana sat down in a seat.
"He said he was still in love with you and that you two were soon to be together again."
Liliana laughed. "Umm, well that sounds really one sided."
"Well he's unavailable because Lisa showed up this morning."
Liliana's heart dropped and she lost all feeling in her body. She didn't really expect for her to react that way but she was angry on the inside. She didn't let Dave see it though. "What's going on? They're back together again?"
"She's been here all morning and they've been locked up in his room all day. I don't know what they're doing but I can take a wild guess and I'm sure you can too. I mean, the security at the house told me it's been pretty quiet all day. They don't hear any yelling or talking or anything and Michael and Lisa haven't stepped out of the room since she got there this morning and the only word they heard from Michael was a about a half hour into her visit, he told us to not let anyone in the main house and tell whoever he was unavailable."
