Continuing the events from the previous chapter, Danger Force got an alert that The Toddler was robbing the nice Nacho Ball, so they transformed and Miles teleports them thete.
Captain Man: "Stop right there, Toddler!"
Toddler: "Wellll, wellll, well, look who it is: it's Danger Force. How are you gonna stop me this time? I have every single employee and customer here *in deep voice* taken hostage."
Volt: "That's still not gonna stop us."
Volt uses her powers to shock the Toddler.
Brainstorm: "Let's get 'em!"
Captain Man takes on the Toddler as Danger Force each take on one of his goons, Volt uses her powers on one of them, Brainstorm uses his powers to send another one flying across the room, AWOL uses his powers to trick a goon.
Shout-Out uses her powers to send herself and a goon towards the ceiling, just like she did with Drex, only this time, when Shout-Out landed, she sprained her ankle, causing her to scream again, knocking everyone over, and as they got up, Volt saw that her girlfriend was injured.
Volt: "Shout-Out!"
She runs to her and helps her up.
Shout-Out: "My ankle, it hurts."
Volt: "Don't worry, I got you."
Volt hugs her girlfriend as she started shedding tears from the level of pain she was feeling in her ankle, AWOL then teleports The Toddler and his goons to Swellview prison, he comes back a few seconds later.
AWOL: "Alright, let's head back to the Man's Nest. Grab on, everyone."
They all gather around AWOL as he teleports them back to the Man's Nest, when they get there, they transform back to their normal selves, they carefully lay Mika on a bed as Schwoz comes in to look at Mika's ankle.
Mika: "Is it bad?"
Schwoz: "No, it's just a small ankle sprain, but you will need to wait at least a week until it completely heals."
Bose: "Well, let's hope there's not another crime until that week is over."
Chapa: "Amen, my guy."
Miles: "Does it hurt really bad?"
Mika: "Kind of, but I'll be alright."
Schwoz takes out a special gumball.
Schwoz: "Here, use this."
Mika: "What does it do?"
Schwoz: "You'll see."
Mika chews the gum, blows a bubble, and just like that, a brace appears on her ankle.
Bose: "Wow, that is so cool."
Schwoz: "Right? I did the same thing to Henry after he broke his arm."
Miles: "Oh, yeah, I remember that, that was when he and Ray were fighting Dr. Karate, wasn't it?"
Ray: "The same, and you know something? We haven't seen or heard from him ever since then, so I'm sure he's still in prison."
Just then, the crime alert goes off, and sure enough, it's Dr. Karate.
Ray: "Welp, I should not have said that. Where is he?"
Miles: "He's actually at a karate place."
Ray: "Huh, I'll be darned. Mika, stay here. We don't want you to get hurt again."
Chapa: "Actually, I think I'm gonna stay, too. I'm kinda popular at that karate place, and if anyone sees me, they'll immediately be all over me."
Bose: "Fair enough."
Ray, Bose and Miles transform into their super selves, AWOL teleports them out of the Man's Nest.
Schwoz: "Well, I'm gonna go do some more sciencing."
Chapa: "Alright, see ya."
Schwoz exits.
Chapa: "How are you holding up?"
Mika: "Pretty good, my ankle really hurts, but I'm happy you're here."
Chapa: *smiles* "Aww, that's sweet of you."
Mika giggles.
Chapa: "Hey, uh, is it alright with you if I gave your ankle a little rub?"
Mika: "Yeah, go right ahead."
Chapa: "Thanks, where exactly on your ankle does it hurt?"
Mika points to the area it hurts.
Mika: "Right around here."
Chapa: "Got it, I'll try to be gentle."
Chapa gently takes off Mika's brace and sock and starts rubbing Mika's bare ankle, relieving some of the pain.
Mika: "Mmm, that feels really good."
Chapa: *smiles* "Glad you like it."
Chapa continues to rub Mika's ankle, and soon, she starts to rub Mika's whole foot, Mika then moans a little bit from how good it felt, Chapa stops when she hears it.
Mika: "Sorry, it's just... it feels really good."
Chapa: "Don't be sorry. I'm just happy you like it."
Mika: *giggles* "Good."
Chapa smiles as she continues to rub Mika's bare foot. She then gets an idea.
Chapa: "Are you ticklish?"
Mika: "Maybe... why?"
Chapa: "Mmm... no reason."
Chapa starts to tickle Mika's bare foot without warning. Mika started laughing so much that she couldn't contain herself. After some time, they stop.
Mika: "That was so much fun."
Chapa: "Yeah, you're really ticklish, I can tell."
Mika: *giggles* "Yeah."
Chapa and Mika share a kiss.
Chapa: "I love you."
Mika: "I love you, too."
They both smile as they sit next to each other on the bed, cuddling in each other's arms.
