"Honey? Honey are you alright?"
"Hmmm?" I growled. I sat up and regained my posture. I blinked twice, and I slowly saw a figure of a woman in front of me. I blinked again, and saw it was my mom.
My mom had a straight, blonde hair. Right now she was wearing her normal work clothes. A navy blue blouse and a black pants with a combination of her jewelries; a diamond earrings, and a diamond necklace. It matched her appearance.
"Mom?" I mumbled as I stretched my arms and yawned.
"Sweetie? Are you alright? I heard you screaming from downstairs. Are you having a bad dream?"
'A bad dream?'
I thought for a minute, and then I remembered what had happened. Pieces by pieces were now appearing on my mind. I was dancing, dancing with an unknown man. And then it hit me, the man was ran over by a pick-up truck, because of me. Oh God, what have I done? What do I do? Was it all real? What did-----
"Daphne?"
"Huh?" I said confused. Oh right, I was back to reality. I sigh and stood up
"Mom, it was only just a dream." I mumbled as I walked right past at her and went to the bathroom.
I heard the door shut, telling myself that my mom has left my room. I locked my bathroom door, and looked myself in the mirror. I sighed, and started singing one of my favorite song by Christina Aguilera.
Everyday is so wonderful, and suddenly, its hard to breathe.
I sang the first line as I climbed my way to the tub and started undressing myself.
Now and then, I get insecure. From all the pain, I'm so ashamed.
I hummed as I turned my shower on and started pretending I was holding a microphone, and sang again.
I am beautiful, no matter what they say, words can't bring me down.
I am beautiful, in every single way, yes words can't bring me down, oh no. So don't you bring me down today.
As I finished singing the whole song, I quickly finished my shower and went straight to my closet.
