[DAPHNE's POV]

"Where's Mr. Fuller?" I repeated again as I ran frantically at the backtage asking people where he was. I've been looking for him for the past ten minutes because our part would be starting soon, which is the Balcony Scene where both Romeo and Juliet confesses their love for each other.

I looked everywhere. The dressing room, the food court, everywhere in the school. Heck, I even went inside the men's restroom!

As I ran through the hundreds of crowds coming inside the auditorium, I spotted Jordan talking to a parent in the corner of the entrance. I jumped up and down waving at him, but he still didn't notice me. "Mr. Miller!" I yelled through the crowds. People were busy talking to their phone or busy shoving people beside them so they could get a good seat, so I wasn't worried about embarrassing myself. "Miller!" I yelled again, hoping he would hear me.

He then turned his head around, his face full of confusion as he looked through the crowds of who was calling him. I waved at him and jumped. His eyes immediately fell on mine and he smiled at me. He excused himself from the flirty parent and jogged his way towards me.

"You look very beautiful Daphne." He winked at me as his eyes scanned my costume. I was wearing of course the modern clothes back in the 1500s. Yes, you guessed right. I'm wearing a hideous black  strapless gown that stood right below my knees. paired with a black sandals. My hair was curled and I had a light make-up on.

I hid my blush and hit him by the chest playfully. He then placed his hand on his heart and pretended he was hurt. "Ouch."

I shook my head and chuckled. But not until I noticed people where staring at us. "I- uh where's Mr. Fuller?" I asked, not meeting his eyes. I was getting uncomfortable now. I knew what the people were thinking. Why would a student hit her teacher?

"He's running a little late." He said calmly like it wasn't of a big deal. It is a big deal!

I shook my head and took a deep breat,  trying to calm myself down. "Look, I've been looking for him for the past fifteen minutes now, and the play is staring in like.." I paused, glancing at my watch. "In like two minutes!" I hissed. My mind was going crazy now. He can't be late! "So don't try and act like this is not a big deal, because it is!"

Jordan chuckled and crossed his arms over his chest. What was this dark-haired prick laughing at? "Someone's feisty today." He said.

"Don't-"

"Fuck with me." He finished as he mockingly repeated my words earlier in the year in a high-pitched voice.

Before I could say something smart, his phone starting ringing. He sighed and told me to wait a minute. Like hell I would!

I'm not about to wait for Jordan, because I have things to take care of. So I turned myself around and started walking opposite from him.

'What do you mean you can't come?' Jordan hissed behind me.

This made me stopped dead in my tracks. Who was he talking to? Was it Mr. Fuller?

I stood there waiting for Jordan to respond, my back facing him. 'Yeah she's been looking for you. No. What?! Are you sure? Are they okay? Just calm the fuck down. Everything's going to be alright. Yes I'm sure. Yeah she's fine. OK I'll tell her that. Yeah just be careful. Oh shut up. Bye.'

They? Who were they talking about? She? Were they talking about me? Ugh my mind is going crazy!

"He's not coming Daphne." I heard Jordan said as he placed his hand on my shoulder and spun me around, so now I was facing him.
