"Kidnapping you, of course. What you think I was doing? Taking you to la-la land?" He chuckled as he turned the car to the right leading to the forest.

Forest? Forest. Is this Alice in Wonderland or something?

"Why are you doing this?" I whispered as I ignored his sarcasm. I wasn't even looking at him. My eyes were wandering around the dark forest we were in. There was no sign of sunlight and the trees has literally no leaves at all.

Yeap. This is Alice in Wonderland.

I heard him sigh and said, "I had orders from Blake."

Like duh. That's pretty obvious Einstein. "I meant like why are you working for him? Matter of fact, how could you do this to me? Or to Joshua and Jordan?"

Surprisingly, he literally just laughed at my questions. What was so damn funny? "I can't answer that question right now Ms. Moore."

"Don't you dare and call me that! I'm no 'Ms. Moore' to you!" I snapped as I used air-quotes.

"Why cause you only want Joshua or Jordan to call you that?" He said gripping the steering wheels too tight. Why is he acting like this?

"It doesn't matter. You don't have the authority to call me that anymore since you lied to me! Matter of fact, when all of you lied to me!"

"Daphne that was a long time ago." He said.

Yeah I know. But I'm still not over it. "Whatever." I said crossing my arms, hopefully this conversation would end right now... But, "I don't even know you that well anyway." I whispered holding back the tears that was about to release from my eyes.

"But you trust me."

Trust. Yeah I did. Even though I only met him once, I already knew that he was trust-worthy. But I guess I was wrong. "I don't trust you. I never did. I only met you once." I lied. I know it's stupid but something was telling me on the inside to not jump into conclusions. I still trust him. I don't even know why.

"Yeah ok. Save that for later because we're here."

Before I could protest, he suddenly slammed the brakes hard which made me jump a little. I shook my head lightly to clear my head off because of the impact of the car.

"Are you okay?" He said gently.

I then felt a hand on my shoulder; a soft hand perhaps, but as much as I wanted it to comfort me right now, I need to let go, because this hand wasn't Joshua's. Although it felt like it. "Don't touch me." I snapped as I shoved his hand away from me, which earned a scowl from him. "And why do you care?"

"Look I'm trying to be nice here okay?" He said as he took the keys from the ignition and looked at me.

Why is every guy I know is handsome? "Then don't. Quit it okay?! You're the one who kidnapped me! I don't need your pity!"

His expression then suddenly changed. His sudden changes right now made me shiver. This wasn't him. This wasn't the man I once knew; funny, smart, sincere. This man turned into a vicious, dangerous man. And it's all because of Blake.

My breathing suddenly slowed down when his eyes penetrated into mines. His eyes were cold; emotionless. Then what he did next made my trust for him disappear. He slammed his knuckles on the steering wheel and glared at me with wide eyes. "What the hell is wrong with you? You're being so damn complicated!"

Complicated? What the hell? That wasn't the response I expected from him. "You're working for Blake! He killed my best friend! Joe might be next! I am kidnapped by you! And now I'm being 'so damn complicated'?!"

"There's one thing you don't even know." He suddenly said softly.

I arced an eyebrow at him. Like duh there's a lot of things I don't know about him! "Huh?"

He sighed and ran a hand through his blonde hair. "Blake didn't kill Sharmaine."

"What?"

"I said Blake did not kill Sharmaine." He repeated.

"Then who?" I said. Who would kill my best friend other than Blake? Maybe Blake made the killer kill her...

"It was m-"

He was then cut short when somebody slammed their hands on my window, which made me shriek louder. I turned my head around and found Blake smirking at me... with a gun on his right hand.

He twirled his gun over his finger two times. It suddenly stopped and before I knew it the gun was pointing at my head. Shit I hope this window was bullet proof.

I heard the driver's door being opened, but I wasn't paying attention to that, I was paying attention to the gun pointing at my head right now. Would it hurt if he shoots me directly in my brain?

Suddenly my gaze was now on the surroundings. In front of me was a small, wooden cottage with a chimney on it, white smoke was releasing from it. Tons of trees were covering the area so no one could barely even see it and its really fucking dark in here. Seriously is this Alice in Wonderland or what?

My thoughts were interrupted when someone gripped my arm tight and pulled me out of the car. I hissed in pain as I tried to escape, but the hand was too strong. I turned my head around and saw Blake holding me. "Shut up!" He yelled as he pushed me to the ground. I landed on my butt and screamed yet again in pain.

"Man don't do that." I heard him say to Blake.

I looked up and I was seriously on the wrong timing. Blake landed a fist on 'his' stomach and he immediately fell on the ground. Blake was about to kick him in the face when I threw a rock on Blake's head.

"Please stop fighting!" I pleaded. Both of their heads turned to face me and frowned. "I've had enough for today alright! Please let's just get this over with!" I begged.

Blake smiled at me and crossed his arms over his chest. Why was he smiling? Wasn't my rock enough? "I need to tell you something Daphne before we begin." He said as he looked down on the ground and gave 'him' a smirk.

'His' eyes then widened as he stood up abruptly from the ground. "Please not now." He told Blake.

Blake shook his head and smirked. "She needs to know bro."

Bro? Are they brothers or what?! "What the hell is it!" I yelled as I stomped my feet childishly.

'He' shook his head and tried to stop Blake, but Blake only shoved his hand away and said,"He killed Sharmaine, Daphne. I didn't."

"What the hell are you talking about?"

"I ordered him to kill your best friend so technically I didn't kill her. Your buddy did." Blake said as he pointed his fingers towards 'him'.

No. Blake's lying. There's no way 'he' would kill Sharmaine. He's way too innocent for that.

But what if Blake's telling the truth?

'He' then jogged his way towards me and tried to grab my arm, but I shoved his hand away. "Please let me-"

"Y-you?" I stuttered between my words as I pointed my fingers towards 'him'. "You k-killed her?"

He shook his head and grabbed me by the arm, only this time it was a bit tighter. "Look I'm-"

"Don't you dare touch me Dawson!"
