I heard a loud knock from my bedroom door. But I wasn't pay attention to it. I was busy flipping through my photo album back when I was a little kid. I smiled through the pictures. Time has came by so fast. One day I was busy whining to my mom about the fact that I missed a Tom & Jerry episode, but then next day came, and I'm finally an adult who's about to start her final year of high school.
I was halfway done through my photo album when I heard a loud, final bang coming from my door.
I groaned and stood up from my bed. I glanced at the clock hanging from the wall and groaned even harder. Who would be awake this late of night?!
I stomped my way towards my door and opened it. Before I could scream to whoever the hell that was banging from my door at 1:30 in the morning, a handsome face appeared in front of me. My anger quickly disappeared when his lips captured mines.
I smiled at the kiss and pulled away. Its weird though. I didn't feel anything when he kissed me. The butterflies that usually appeared on my stomach when he kiss me wasn't there anymore. "What are you doing here?" I asked as I opened the door wider for him to come in.
He chuckled and stepped inside. "Because I'm your boyfriend."
I shook my head and closed the door, not bothering to lock it. I then turned my radio on, and how cliché. One of my favorite song is playing; It Will Rain by Bruno Mars.
I grabbed him by my hand locked my fingers into his. He knew what I wanted to do. He always does.
He twirled me smoothly and I landed on his chest. Then we started dancing.
'So keep in mind all the sacrifices I'm making. To keep you by my side, and to keep you from walking out my door.' The song played.
"So you and me together forever?" He whispered behind my ear as he planted a kiss on my forehead.
Forever? Do I still love him? These past few days he was being distant lately. My feelings got weaker and weaker for him. Will I stay? "Yes.. Babe its you and me til I take my last breath." I whispered in his ear. He nodded, and leaned closer, til our nose were inches apart. I could smell his heavy breathing as he leaned closer and closer, til I broke away.
"What's wrong?" He asked me with worried expression.
I walked through my window, and just stood there. After about a minute of silence, I bit my nail and finally faced him fully. I looked at him straight in the eye and said, "Go."
His jaws dropped, his eyes were wide open. I could tell he was in a deep thought. "What?"
"I said go." I mumbled as I pointed my fingers toward the door, telling him to leave. "I.... I don't love you anymore."
"What do you mean you don't love me? A while ago you said its you and me, til you take your last breath. And now you're telling me to leave? Are you in meds or something?" He chuckled. He thought I was joking around. He sat down on my bed, and looked at me. Seconds later his expression has changed as he saw tears coming right down to my face. "Daphne I..."
"Go!" I screamed at his face. He nodded, and went towards me. He kissed my forehead, and said goodbye. He smiled at me, and walked towards my door and left, leaving me in my room alone.
'Cause there'll be no sunlight, if I lose you baby. There'll be no clear skies, if I lose you baby.'
"Baby wait!" I screamed.
I ran towards my door and checked if he was still downstairs. There was no one around, so I quickly went outside the house.
I glanced around the street but nobody was there. I then walked further through my driveway and saw him walking in the middle of the street.
"Wait!" I yelled.
He then stopped walking and turned himself around and gestured me to go on and explain.
"Babe come back. I'm sorry I fucked up so bad, I didn't know what I was doing. Please don't walk away." I begged as I tried my best to control the tears that was about to run down through my cheeks.
He smiled at me and opened his mouth to say something. But darkness overtook, and I found myself kneeling on the ground with him, as he was laying down on the ground, hopelessly bleeding to death. "Oh my God!!! Somebody help us!!"
"Daphne... I"
"Shhh. baby... Help is coming on the way. Please don't leave me." I said as I held his hand and cried. "I shouldn't have told you to go." I whispered.
"This is not your fault Daphne. I just--- AHH!!!!" He hissed in pain.
He held my hand and started crying with me.
"Help!!! Somebody please!!"
"Babe.. I love you." He mumbled as he slowly closed his eyes, breathing heavily.
"No no no!!" I screamed. I could hear the sirens coming towards us. "Don't leave me! No not yet!"
He kissed my hand and slowly let go of my trembling hands. He took his last breath, and layed on the ground.
I started shaking him, but there was no movement. "Wake up please." I begged as I shook him harder. "Please!!!" I yelled as I checked his pulse, but there was nothing.
"Please get up!"
