Chapter 12*

I'm standing in front of my house with Jesse at my side, about to go to tell Todd how much of a messed up sister he has. I take a deep breath and Jesse squeezes my hand. That's becoming our thing. I take a long stride forward and open the door with Jesse right behind me.

"Todd, Emma I need to speak with you!" I shout in the house. I'm doing this now so I don't lose my confidence. Emma comes running down the stairs with a scared look on her face.

"What's wrong? Are you hurt? Do you need a doctor? Should I ta-" I cut her off.

"Emma I'm fine, well I am now I just need to speak with you and Todd about something," I say taking hold of her hands and bring them down to her sides. She nods her head.

"I'll go get him." She says then goes back upstairs running to get her husband.

"I don't know if I can do this Jesse, he'll think I'm crazy or something, I'm not crazy. Well, I don't think I am, I'm a little messed up but you know I don't want hi-" He puts his hand over my mouth.

"Stop rambling you'll be fine, I'll be here with you for the whole time okay?" He says looking into my eyes.

"Will you stop rambling?" I mumble yes under his hand. He laughs and drops it and slides his arm around my shoulder hugging my side a bit. I laugh at him because his hair is messed up.

"What are you laughing at?" He says with a confused look in his eyes. I run my hand through his hair and fix it.

"Your hair was messed up."

"Was that a problem Faith?" He says cheekily pushing me up against the wall and places his hands on the side of my head. My cheeks immediately flush red I whisper,

"What are you doing?"

"Uncomfortable Faith?" He asks a smirk on his face. We hear a cough behind us and Jesse's playful grin turns into a nervous one. I laugh at his response and I push him away to see Todd looking at us with a smirk, Emma is giggling sweetly by the side of him. Todd's arm is wrapped around her waist, it's now or never Abigail.

"I need to tell you guys something," I say with confidence.

"I think you should sit down for this," I say, Emma has a curious look on her face and Todd just looks confused. We walk into the living room, Todd and Emma taking one couch and Jesse and me on the other.

"Okay, before I say anything Todd I know you're going to freak out but just let me finish what I'm saying before you say anything okay?" Todd looks over at Jesse with an angry look.

"I swear to god Jesse if you've got my sixteen-year-old sister pregnant I will kill you." He says with an intimidating look on his face. I burst out laughing, Jesse's face is flushed red.

"Yeah, that's not it Todd." Todd looks at me with an annoyed look on his face.

"Could you please just tell me what's going on?"

"You've got to promise me you won't freak out and not talk until I'm done," I say starting to get a little nervous. He nods his head and takes Emma's hand as if scared of what he's going to hear.

"Okay, umm where do I start?" I say ready to back out and just leave the house and run away to the star stoppers. Jesse takes hold of my hand and squeezes it like always. I take a deep breath and decide to start at the best place, the start of course.

"Ever since the incident people in school don't really want to know me, I have no friends, no one to lean on. Well, I used to not have a friend but now I do." I laugh a little looking up at a smiling Jesse.
