The alarm is blaring at the other side of my room when I wake. But the only thing I can pay attention to is the bounding off my head. It feels like someone is banging my head into a concrete wall over and over. I roll over in my bed, which does not help. I hang my legs off my bed and put my head in my hands I get up and make my over to my alarm that is ringing but on my way over my body swings to the side and I fall on my side to the floor. I curse out loud. I sit up trying to ignore the pain and lean against my bed hoping it will ease the pain. The alarm is still ringing but I can't find it in myself to stand back up so I just sit on the floor with my hands massaging my temple until Todd walks in.
"Would you turn that alarm off already!" He says whilst slamming my door open. I groan, could he make any more noise? He picks the alarm clock up and turns it off and puts it down. He sees me on the floor and looks at me with a question obvious on his face.
"Why are you on the floor?" He asks slowly not understanding why I'm where I am.
"Go away, Todd," I say not much energy behind my voice.
"Not going to happen, now what's wrong?" He asks whilst making his way over to sit down next to me.
"I don't know my head is just spinning, think I just need something to eat or drink," I say.
"Are you sure? I mean you can stay home if you're not feeling well." He tells me.
"No, I'm fine," I say bluntly,
"Sure, whatever Abb," He says with a little laugh,
"Emma is making breakfast now so don't be long because I'm probably going to eat it all." He says seriously,
"Why are you pregnant?" I say sarcastically pretending with a pretend surprised look on my face.
"Ye, haha very funny Abigail." He says whilst walking out my bedroom and closing the door behind him.
I finally stand up and balance myself on my bedside table. After I think I'm okay to go I make my way over to my bathroom doing my usual routine hair, makeup, teeth. I then go over to my wardrobe and grab an outfit which consists of light skinny jeans, stripy black and white halter vest, a checked shirt and brown sandals since it was getting a little warmer. After changing I made my way downstairs, as I walked into the kitchen I see Emma trying to cook but Todd has his arm around her waist and is talking into her ear trying to distract her. I think he was doing just that. I'm always seeing Emma and Todd being all loved up. I guess love never does die. I walk over to the table and pull the chair out, apparently, Todd and Emma didn't hear me walk in so I scared them a little.
"Morning," I say to Emma with a smile on my face,
"Good morning sweetie how did you sleep?" She asks caringly,
"Okay, I've just got a massive headache that I can't seem to shake," I say whilst taking a big bite out of the toast that was placed in front of me. She walks over to the drawer in the kitchen which holds all the medicine and takes out some tablets.
"Here take this it'll make the headache go away." She says pushing the tablets and glass of water in front of me.
"Thanks, Emma," I say sincerely
"No problem Abby." She says laying a kiss on my forehead. I guess that you could say Emma is like a mother to me, ever since I moved in with her and Todd all she's ever been is nice. She took me in without a word of regret and treated me like one of her own, and I was so great full of that. I put the tablet on my tongue and proceed to put the glass to my lips and swallow it down. We are all sitting down eating breakfast when the doorbell rings,
