Chapter 79: Caging of Claw!

The sound of metal clanging and banging was heard as heavy steps followed. Zeldris, Tabitha and Anita looked to the left to see what was knights in black armour rushing with spears and swords. As the knights got close enough, they pointed their weapons at Anita. Zeldris sighed before looking at Tabitha, Tabitha began to shake before saying.

Tabitha: "Please...not her, she was forced!"

Tabitha then got up and stood in front of Anita. Anita gasped before saying weakly.

Anita: "It's okay...I have to face my punishment."

Anita closed her eyes before looking up. Tabitha didn't move however, she stood her ground. She couldn't let them take her..she had a dream and it was sting for her to be behind bars.

Knight: "We can't allow these criminals to get away! They have caused cataclysms on a grand scale, they belong behind bars!"

Tabitha gritted her teeth.

Tabitha: "No!..s-some of them joined only to be protected..some of them have families they have to find..some of them are good people that can't be locked behind bars!.."

Knight 2: "Good people?..that's preposterous! The whole of France has been petrified because of these animals! What makes you think they won't cause more destruction if they're let out? Don't be so naive! If you continue to obstruct us, then we will have no choice but to arrest you also!"

Tabitha began to shake, her knees felt weak as sweat streamed down her neck. Zeldris watched as it all unfolded...

Zeldris: "Tabitha, it's not worth you being behind bars for people you've just met. Don't put yourself in jeopardy, these guys have killed, slaughtered and even cannibalised others. They're criminals and they must face judgment, don't lump yourself in with them, or you'll bite off more than you can chew."

Tabitha closed her purple eyes before saying.

Tabitha: "I can't...she has a dream..she has to meet with Ace."

The knights raised their weapons at Tabitha, Zeldris tried to move but his body was still so weak.

Zeldris: "Tabitha..don't be an idiot!"

Suddenly the knights stopped, they quickly split and stood side to side primly and created a path. The clacking of smart shoes were heard in the back and got closer and closer.

Knights: "Welcome back, Prince Laurier!"

Zeldris: "Laurier?...wait that's!"

As dawn cracked, the sun ascended taking away the dark sky. Red long hair was revealed along with a fancy red suit, sky blue eyes looked forward and a rather handsome face was seen. A charming smile could be seen on the man's face as he came to a stop.

Ryo: "It appears I've arrived just on time. It's a pleasure to see you once again, Zeldris. I'm glad you're okay."

Zeldris: "Tch..if you can even call this okay, my body feels so weak and I've definitely broken a few bones."

Ryo chuckled slightly.

Ryo: "Even in your weakest state, you always find a way to be sarcastic."

Zeldris: "I'm guessing those knights belong to you? Since when did you have an entire army behind you?"

Ryo: "Since I was a young boy. Father appointed me with knights as security to ensure I stay safe."

Zeldris: "Must be nice to be rich..I have a favour to ask Ryo."

Ryo: "Ask of me anything my king, I will ensure it will be done."

Zeldris: "Could you tell these guys to leave the bird girl over there and some other..wait what was her name, Tabitha?"
