Chapter 25: Quarterfinals

"Head." King chose the coin side while Heavy D! would be tails. Mature threw the coin and the result were London, England. So, the plane took them there.

King, Yuri and Mai would think on some strategy from their side while Heavy! D, Lucky Glauber and Brain Battler would think on their strategy too.

England soldiers and some horses were around the battle stage. "The first to fight from each side are Yuri Sakazaki for the England Team and Brian Battler for the USA Team. Yuri VS Brian. Fight!" The announcer from the tournament team said.

Brian did a Hyper Tackle knocking Yuri with his shoulder, she reacted with a "Ko Ou Ken!" An energy released from her fist hitting Brian with the blow. As an answer, he did a Brian Tornado jumping and spinning around his body horizontally hitting Yuri with his head. She fell down and after some moment, she stood up charging her Ki and released a Hien Houou Kyaku jumping on Brian and climbing him while alternating kicks from left to right until reach the top of his body and hitting his face going back to where she came. Brian fell down. "Winner is Yuri!" The announcer said while the second battler, Lucky Glauber joined the fight.

"Yuri VS Lucky. Fight!"

"I need to win this fight." Yuri thought while Lucky did a Cyclone Break jumping and giving a kick from up to down in Yuri to try to end the battle quickly. Yuri fell on the ground, and she could not stand up anymore. "Winner is Lucky!" Now they were two against two, Mai joined the fight.

"Mai VS Lucky. Fight!"

"Ryu En Bu!" Mai did 360 degrees while flames were released around her burning Lucky and making him fall for a while. Lucky stood up and he did a Dunk Otoshi doing a somersault in the air and giving a punch on Mai, but she evaded it. She then charged her Ki and did a "Cho Hissatsu Shinobibachi!" She did a star moving forward and jumping with her elbow blow flaming her entire body. Lucky fell down and could not continue. "Winner is Mai!" the fight was in the hands of Heavy D! who joined the fight.

"Mai VS Heavy D!. Fight!"

Heavy D! did a Rolling Soul Diver standing forward with a jab with some energy around it. Mai felt the attack but got up quickly doing a "Ka Cho Sen!" where she launched one fan hitting Heavy D! which didn't seem to feel so much. He then did a "Soul Flower!" Punching the ground with one of his fists but Mai wasn't in the ground anymore, she dived from the air doing a "Musasabi no Mai!" where she with a fan on her mouth she dived into Heavy D! Clashing her head with his body making he fall, and this time, he could not stand up anymore. "Winner is Mai!"

"That settles it, the winner from the first fight is England Team and the first to say goodbye to the tournament is the USA Team."

Mature then called the remaining fighters to join the flight again, and so they did. The next fight was from Brazil Team VS Korea Team. And deciding by the coin, the battle would be at Amazon Rainforest, Brazil. The plane took them there and near a crashed chopper where the battle would begin.

Both teams entered in an agreement and Brazil Team resolved to start with Ralf Jones and from the side of Korea Team, Chang Koehan. "Ralf VS Chang. Fight!"

Chang did a Tekkyu Funsai Geki which he used his steel ball to attack the opponent forward, Ralf guarded the attack and did a Vulcan Punch on Chang which consisted of several punches in flames. Chang felt that and fell on the ground. Everyone was expecting him to get up, but even with his high stamina, he could not stand up. "Winner is Ralf!" Then Choi joined the fight.

"Ralf VS Choi. Fight!"

Choi started the fight with a Tatsumaki Shippuu Zan spinning around and flying like a tornado around him hitting Ralf and sending him to the ground. Ralf then got up although feeling the blow. Ralf then did the Argentine Back Breaker throwing Choi to the air and catching him with his two hands on his back and throwing him on the ground. Choi felt the attack and as his friend, he could not get up. "Winner is Ralf!" Then Kim Kaphwan joined the fight.

"Ralf VS Kim. Fight!"

Kim did a "Hi En Zan!" which was a mortal hitting Ralf with his two legs. Ralf fell on the ground and could not get up anymore. Clark then joined the fight. "Winner is Kim!"

"Clark VS Kim. Fight!"

Clark already began charging his Ki and did an Ultra Argentine Back Breaker throwing to the air and catching Kim three times and after that knocking him against his knee. Kim couldn't get up anymore and the winner was the Brazil Team. "Winner is Clark!"

"The winner from the second fight is Brazil Team and the second to say goodbye to the tournament was the Korea Team."

Mature took everyone again back to the plane for the next battle. And the next battle was from Mexico Team VS Japan Team. Deciding in the coin, the next fight would be at Pao Pao Café, Mexico.

Both teams were ready to begin the third fight from the tournament. From the Mexico side was Ryo Sakazaki the first to begin the fight versus Goro Daimon from Japan. "Ryo VS Daimon. Fight!"

"Zan Retsu Ken!" Ryo already started without mercy giving several left punches on Daimon and finishing it with a right punch. Daimon fell on the ground and after having some hard time he got up. He did a Cho Ohsoto Gari holding Ryo and using his left leg to tripping him on the ground. Ryo then after falling, he got up taking some distance and doing a Haoh Shou Kouken that was an enormous amount of energy released like a projectile which height could cover a human body. Daimon fell on the ground and was unable to continue. "Winner is Ryo!" Benimaru Nikaido then joined the fight.

"Ryo VS Benimaru. Fight!"

"Shinkuu Katate Goma!" Benimaru started using his right hand as base on the ground and spinning around the entire body hitting Ryo with his legs. Ryo fell on the ground and stood up again. Ryo did a "Ko Ou Ken!" on Benimaru sending his projectile energy which Benimaru evaded and approached him doing a "Raijin Ken!" which was an electric punch hitting Ryo making him fall on the ground and unable him from continue the fight. "Winner is Benimaru!" Robert joined the fight.

"Robert VS Benimaru. Fight!"

The fight began and Robert did a Ryuu Geki Ken that was a little similar to Ryo's Ko Ou Ken. Benimaru was hit by the blow and after hitting the ground, he realized that if he did not end that fight soon there was a high chance for the Japan Team to lose the tournament. Benimaru got up charging his Ki as Robert approached him, he released his Raiko Ken, which was a bigger and stronger version of his Raijin Ken and was a special move that would need some Ki. Robert didn't get up "Winner is Benimaru!" And Takuma joined the fight.

"Takuma VS Benimaru. Fight!"

Takuma charged his Ki and released his special move Ryuko Ranbu which he attacked Benimaru with eight hits taking turns between punches and kicks and after that to finish the special, Takuma went backward launching a "Haoh Shou Kouken!" Benimaru couldn't get up anymore "Winner is Takuma!" And the last battle between the two teams would begin now with Kyo joining the fight.

"Takuma VS Kyo. Fight!"

Kyo was angry for his teammate's loss and Kyo charged his Ki releasing an Ura 108 Shiki Orochi Nagi which after summon his flames into his hand he released it through the entire body making some sort of flame shield and hitting Takuma with it. Takuma fell on the ground and the fight was decided. "Winner is Kyo!" The winner was the Japan Team.
