"I need the marshmallows. Anne?"

"I think I forgot them?" She squinted her left eye. "Maybe I got robbed."

Yasmine face-palmed. "You're so silly."

The girls and I planned for a camping night. We however forgot to check the forecast and it started raining as soon as we got into the car.

We agreed to behave as tho we were in the mountains. We set up a fortress, we got chewing gums and snacks and we set up the fireplace at Yasmine's.

"Em, you're coming?" They all turned to me.

"Nah. Not yet. I have Bible study with Ethan in five minutes."

"You both pray for us. And all the serial killers in this town. That we do not become like them," Elsa dragged, her focus on the TV.

"Sure!"

Whatever that meant, it wasn't ordinary.

"Hey, um, sorry,"

"Still at practice?"

"Nah. Just setting up Plan H. But it's urgent and we're in a board meeting."

"Okay, Mister see ee oh. Take care of yourself. I'll go ahead with my Bible study. Make sure you do yours as soon as you get home."

"Sure. Don't forget to drop your insights in my DM."

"Love you," I dropped.

When I was done with Bible study, I moved to the fridge to get water.

"You look fresher these days. Did you even notice your hair became darker?"

"Huh?"

Yasmine face-palmed again. "Why's everyone making me repeat my statements?"

"Because you fall from the sky."

"I'm happy my cousin is taking care of you. You deserve it."

"It's wonderful." I sat on the kitchen island. "How's Luc?"

She shrugged. "Not very well. He's been sick these days."

"Ow. My bad. Shouldn't you be at his place right now?"

"He insisted on going to Plan H. He said he had an important meeting to attend."

"Oh. Yeah."

"Plus, it's one of the last nights I get to spend with you before you go to Massachusetts."

"The flight's in two months from now, Yas. We can have as many sleepovers as possible."

"What are you girls talking about? I'm fed up with that K-pop music shit." Elsa whined. K-pop usually made her feel sleepy.

"Typical Nelissia. She likes those."

"I went to Kina's eatery yesterday. Man, she cooks good food," Yasmine rubbed her belly. It was fascinating how she never got fat despite her obsession with food.

"Because you're a foodie."

"Proud to be from South Eathampton."

"It's Easthampton, junk."

Nelissia entered and sat on the kitchen counter.

"What time is it?"

I looked at my phone. "It's ten."

She sighed. "Night's still young."

"Cookathon?" Elsa asked.

Everyone smiled. It was a great idea.
