"Welcome to my house."

"You expect me to say thank you?"

I chuckled. I waited for her to walk ahead of me. But she stopped behind me. I sighed and I held her hand, but she tried resisting. Once she saw that she couldn't fight it, she stopped fighting and we went inside. She greeted Lee Ann, one of the housekeepers. And Jackson the butler was just descending the staircase.

"Welcome home, Sir." He bowed. "And Miss." He bowed again.

I rolled my eyes. I'd told him to stop calling me that. "Thank you Jack. Where's K?"

"In bed, Sir."

"How long had she been home?"

"It's been 4hours now, Sir."

"Okay. Thank you." He left.

"So, you coming up?"

"I just hope I'm not intruding her privacy."

"Why should you be? I mean, she'll be happy. Especially with the fruits you bought for her."

"Okay. Let's go then."

"E."

"K. Bitch."

Kelsey and I had the attitude of calling each other through letters. That was our sibling pact. No one ever did that apart from us. My mum adopted it since my dad was never at home.

I sat on her bed, lifting her gently and hugging her.

"Better?"

"Not really. I think it's just beginning."

"I'm here with-" I turned behind me, she wasn't there.

I face-palmed. "Emily?"

She poked in her head, which made me giggle.

"Aren't you coming in?"

"If your sister permits me to. It's not your room, after all."

Kelsey laughed. "She looks awesome." She whispered.

I grinned. "I'll be privileged if you come in."

She came in, and stood beside me.

"Hello, pretty."

"I had to say that first."

We chuckled. "Ethan worried because you caught a cold."

"You knew me?"

"Well, let's say yes. He'd been gossiping about you somehow."

She widened her eyes in surprise and I laughed, shaking my head. "We're breaking up today, Ethan."

"Come on, bitch. I'm sorry."

"You'll get me a teddy bear first." She folded her hands and looked away.

"I promise."

She smiled. "Have you taken any tablets?"

"Jack just gave me some aspirin a few minutes ago."

"Aspirin? You have headache too."

"Yeah."

"Okay. I'll leave you to yourselves, girls. I'm just going to check around."

"Okay."

I stood up, gave Emily one last glance as she did same and I left when she sat on Kelsey's bed.

"I got you these." I fished out the fruits and veggies from my bag and handed them to her.

"Oh. What's it?"
