Shink! Dark Choco drew his sword and blocked the attack.
"Well... it seems your choice has been made," Dark Enchantress sighed. "I'm sorry it had to end this way, but now you will all know the true reason cookies were created! Get them!"
The humans that were standing around us on the sidewalk started to close in, reaching down in attempts to grab us.
"Gah! Wh-what do we do?" Gingerbrave wondered. "There's so many of them--!"
"Hang on, everyone!" I hollered as I pulled out my portal gun and set the location to my bedroom. "Brace yourselves!"
I opened a portal at our feet and we all fell through. I closed the portal before any of the humans could follow us, and we all landed safely on my bed.
"Phew, we're safe," I sighed with relief.
"Where are we?" Gingerbrave wondered.
"We're in my house," I explained. "This is my bedroom."
"Why is everything so huge?" Gingerbrave pressed.
"Well, it's because we're so small," I explained. "Normally when I'm here, I'm about the same size as those other humans we saw at the bakery."
"Woah, so you have the power to change size?" Gingerbrave gasped.
"In different forms, yes," I nodded. "But I can't change forms right now because my dimensional watch is on the fritz."
"Maybe I could fix it again?" Strawberry Crepe offered.
"It's not that simple," I explained to them. "You see, the only way to fix it is to get you guys back to where you belong."
"But first, we've got to stop Dark Enchantress Cookie," Gingerbrave decided.
"Your king is starving!" Custard III complained loudly. "Before we go anywhere, I demand that we find food!"
"Oh, right," I recalled. "Most of you haven't even had lunch yet. Well, I know where we can find lots of food here. Follow me!"
I formed a flight of icy stairs leading down to the floor.
"Err... are you sure that's safe?" Strawberry Cookie wondered.
"There," I murmured as I added a handrail with a flick of my wrist. "Now come on, let's go!"
I led everyone down the stairs and across the floor to the door.
"ACK!" Custard III gasped as he tripped and fell over something. "Something's got me!"
"It's just a ribbon," I assured him as I helped him twist free.
Yeesh, I know I've been told to keep my floor clean, but I never expected to come through here at such a small size that everything would be considered a hazard. I thought to myself.
"We've just got to get to that door," I told everyone.
"How will we open it when we're all still so small?" Gingerbrave pressed.
"I've got that covered," I assured him.
"Wow, what are all these pretty lights?" Princess Cookie wondered, staring at the sunlight reflecting onto the floor. "I've never seen anything like them!"
"Oh, that's just the sunlight coming through the blinds," I told her.
She spun around to look through the window.
"Woah..." She gasped. "It's so beautiful! Can we see more of your world?"
"Absolutely not!" Knight spoke up before I could reply. "It's extremely dangerous for us here. Need I remind you we almost got eaten by a hoard of giant monsters?! Err... humans."
"Oh, come on, Knight Cookie, I think you need to ease up a bit," I urged him. "Maybe it's not the best idea for me to show you around in this form, but once I get this all sorted out, I could show you around in my human form sometime, and you could hide in my hair, or my pocket, or a tiny pouch, and nobody would ever know you were there. Then I could show you all sorts of wonders of this world!"
"It's been a while since I've been on a vacation," Princess pointed out. "And visiting your world sounds like the perfect getaway!"
"I'd be careful if I were you, your highness," Knight warned. "Considering how our last vacation went."
"This isn't going to be anything like that," Princess insisted. "Glacier Mage said she would protect us from the humans."
"Err..." Gingerbrave started to say, while Custard III cleared his throat impatiently.
"Oh! Right, the door," I recalled. "Hang on, everyone, I'll have it open in a jiffy!"
I formed a pillar of ice all the way up to the doorknob and turned it, pulling the door open just enough for everyone to get through.
"Wait for me on the other side!" I called down to them.
As I watched them all go through the door, I noticed once again, Vampire Cookie was missing.
"This is nice," A voice spoke up idly, and I turned to see him laying down in one of my slippers. "I think I might just take a nap here."
"Uhh... Vampire Cookie," I started to say. "That's my slipper. I put my feet in there."
"Eh, it doesn't smell all that bad," he shrugged.
"UGH," Alchemist huffed as she stomped over to where Vampire was laying. "You're not staying here. Get up, let's go!"
"Ow, ow, hey!" Vampire complained as she grabbed his hair and dragged him through the door.
I slipped through the door and landed behind them on a small patch of snow just as it closed behind me.
Vampire was moaning to himself as he trudged over to where the other cookies were standing.
"Hey," I started to say, putting my hand on his shoulder. "I know you're probably super tired, but your sister's right. You can't stay here. We have to get you back to your world. But I'm sure when you get home your sister will let you take as long of a nap as you want."
"..." Alchemist glared at me as I spoke.
"Alright, now that we're all here, let's get going!" Gingerbrave exclaimed. "Err... which way, Glacier Mage?"
"We've got to keep going straight down this hallway until we reach the tile over there," I told them, pointing all the way down the hall to the kitchen area.
"We've got to get all the way over there?" Custard III pressed. "But it's so far... and I'm so hungry!"
"Well then, we'd better get moving," Gingerbrave decided. "Come on, everyone, let's go!"
