They say," Earth is round and small, people run into eachother someday"

But when it's time for us to meet
Why it feels like it's a path with no dead end,no destination?
Why the time never came also after so many years of wait?
Why the time never came for us to meet,to look into eachothers eyes?
Why the time never came for me, to tell you how much I have to wait for you,how much I like you?
Why?Why the wait seems to be hopeless?
