Think Three Times

The Plan

Hailey heard the fight loud and clear, and she knew it was the perfect time to get information. She looked through the janitors closet peek-hole (why exactly did the janitors closet have a peek-hole?) and tried to decide which of the two upper-class, well-informed elementists looked angrier. Definitely the boy, Josh, if she had heard right. She prayed she had. The girl, Katie, huffed and said
"Fine, feel free to believe what ever you want, just remember to apologize to me when Cade picks my improvement on the plan over yours." Her voice was so snotty, Hailey could barely hear the actual words she was saying. Josh snorted, then both turned and ran in opposite directions. Hailey swiftly slipped out of her hiding stop and followed the boy.
He went straight to what appeared to be his room. Hailey waited a few minutes, then knocked on the door. He opened it, and furiously asked
"What do you want?" Even though he had no clue who Hailey was.
"My apologies, is this a bad time?" Asked Hailey, trying to sound nice.
"What do you want?"
"Well, I was trying to find Cade Plisk's room or office and-"
"Why would you be trying to find Cade's Office?"
Hailey knew she had his attention now.
"Well, I didn't understand fully when he explained the plan, so I was going to ask him, then I saw Katie and I asked her about where his office is and she started mumbling something about you, so I figured I'd ask you."
Hailey actually hadn't been at the meeting. It was only for the upper class, well informed people.
"Who are you and how do you know who I am?"
Hailey avoided the who are you.
"Well, Katie was muttering about 'Stupid Josh' and your door say 'Joshua Stupikd's room', so I figured that was a pun on your last name. Look, can you just tell me how to get there?" said Hailey, fully aware of how to get there and of the fact that it was really far with a lot of turns and that he wouldn't be able to say the whole directions, and if so he'd realize there was no way she'd remember them.
He began giving instructions, but after a while, just as planned, he said "Can I just answer your questions?" Hailey inwardly smiled. This was way easy.
"Sure."
"Well, shoot."
"Actually, can you just explain the whole thing, because I didn't really get any of it."
Sighing, Josh gave in and began explaining the plan, Hailey getting slightly more horrified after every word.

DUN DUN DUN
Yup, so, here's Hailey, who you heard about in the story description, and I have a request for anyone that reads this (and I know a lot of Wattpad authors are doing this but hey, it's helpful): please give me names. I need names for more characters. I just need some filler type characters, and if your character doesn't get used its because either: I hate your guts and every time I see your username I want to punch my phone OR because I plan on using that name in this story later on in this story or in The Physics of Magic. So yeah, get ready for some action in the next chapter ;)
