Bad And Worse part one

Eric woke up sitting in a corner in a room. The other three corners were occupied by Will, Hailey, and...... Jacquelyn.
Will and Hailey were looking round the room (actually mostly staring at Jacquelyn), so Eric guessed that they had also just woken up, but Jacquelyn was just fiddling with the dirt on the floor. If there even was a floor beneath the dirt.
"Erm, what happened?" Asked Eric.
"You got kidnapped. Welcome to Meeting House Four, the worst place on the planet. The adults are in one of their 'meetings' and I'm 'being good' and not eavesdropping." Said Jacquelyn.
Will was instantly asking a thousand questions, but Hailey wasn't settling for the other child's knowledge.
"You don't sound to happy about not eavesdropping." She said.
"What? Oh, no, they don't talk about anything interesting, an I am NOT wasting another hour of my life listening to stories about Ivan's pet cat's squeaky toy getting lost. But you seem to want to hear this boring ness for yourself, so here."
For a second, Jacquelyn was quiet and Eric was about to ask what she meant when she said
"Magic."
And suddenly they could hear people talking.
"Way to go, now we have four of the little rats!" Sneered a woman's voice.
"You seem to have forgotten who's in charge here, Kylie." Said another woman.
"Now Ivan, what were you saying?"
"Well I was thinking, and, well, um, do any of you remember Cade Plisk's last words to the organization?"
"This is not the time for riddles, Ivan."
Said the one who was apparently in charge. The first voice- Kylie- snickered. Everyone ignored her.
"He said 'I have discovered a new kind o magic, and I have a plan using it and ours. The elements will be your downfall.'"
"What happened to 'not the time for riddles'?" Asked a new, man's voice.
"Indeed," said the person in charge.
"My patience is running low for your ramblings today, but continue."
"Well, using their appearances and my camera, I did a little research on the three kids in there, and it turns out that all of them have gone missing in the past six months, and two of their families are missing as well."
"And now we arrive at the important part, thought it was not a fast journey to it. And what do you think of this, Ivan?" Said the leader.
"I think this is the work of Cade. Maybe these children posses the other kin of magi he wa talking about." There was a pause "and I'm not sure if you noticed, but the wind was differently growing strong the longer the older boy was conscious and contained."
And the voices stopped.
