Eric found sleep hard as his head swarmed from the events of the day. He had had a weird dream, been kidnapped, flew, fell off a roof, broke both his legs, and then been shown to a room by a terrified looking girl named Hailey, who was definitely anticipating something really bad. From her face, Eric had been able to tell that she knew something he didn't, and it terrified her. But, as an element of positivity, apparently rock elementists can also use life element powers, so his legs were completely healed. He didn't know how, but he eventually fell asleep.

...

Jacquelyn should have expected a weird dream after she saw the last one, but what she saw instead wasn't a dream. It was a nightmare. And it was STRANGE.
First there was a little girl being held at gunpoint, then she was plummeting down. And a guy, who looked about twelve, glaring at her. There was undistinguishable chaos all around her, and the repeating noise of "da no uppy! Meow meow whaaaa..! Blankie!" Seemed to fill the space. There was endless nothingness, but the nothing ness was a tie die color, mainly red. Things jumping out at her, and though none of it made any sense, the only possible emotion was fear. But somehow determination creeped in, and Jacquelyn wondered how much she could influence the dream. The dream prevented her from speaking, so she couldn't use magic. She had to find something she could mentally focus in on and make it real. And she began thinking.

...

Eric knew on some level that he was dreaming, but the terror was to much to allow him to fully process that. It was like when he had broken his legs, except he felt everything clearly. That's when a sentence appeared in from of him. It was huge, and when he read the letters, he found his confusion only grow. It clearly read:
"The only thing in this world we have to fear is fear itself."
Eric knew that quote, and reading it with the bolded words got a message to him clearly: he wasn't in the world. He remembered his sister calling nightmares fear land. That coincidence made him get the memo. And he willed it all to go away. All of it did. Except one thing. In front of him, on all fours, was the girl who had warned him about the Kidnappers.

...

Jacquelyn didn't want to think. She never knew it would be so hard to influence someone else's dream. Unfortunately, Strange Dream Kid made her think by asking her name. That's when she actually looked around.
Now all there was was whiteness, even the ground, for miles.
"My name's Jacquelyn, what's yours?"
Strange Dream Kid looked surprised.
"You don't already know?"
"Why, are you famous or something?"
"No it's just, I figured you'd know since you apparently know what's going to happen in my life."
"Well, what's your name?"
"Eric."
"Nice to meet you, but now that you escaped the Organization, I'm just going to leave."
she turned to leave, which was pointless because she didn't actually have to do more than want to wake up.
"Escaped? What are you talking about?"
Jacquelyn turned around.
"What do you mean? They said your house had been empty."
Then Jacquelyn remembered what Ivan had said. And she remembered what they all had said about another form of magic.
"My family and I were all kidnapped."he said. The Organization wouldn't kidnap someone's family too.
"You need to get out of that place. To use magic, think three times and-" but it's funny how time passes in a dream, because that's when her alarm clock went off.

Bad chapter? I didn't really like it, but let me know what you think. Oh, and there's finally some action next chapter.
